I didn't want to drive alone for five hours to Dubuque, and then be unable to drink or anything and have to drive five hours back. I didn't really want to stay anywhere alone, either (and have to spend the money besides.)

Safety tip! Find a hospital and sleep in a waiting room instead. You can also use the bathroom and get free coffee in hospitals.
I hope this life lesson from the Possum will help you travel to many more Kate-filled-places in the future.

But it was to go visit my hubby in Medford last year. I was going to surprise him.
