The the Chronophage thing on top looks absolutely terrifying

That is a very interesting clock.

Sure, it's art. Not the profound kind, just the decoration kind. It's nice to have stuff like that around a city to brighten things up; it beats billboards and graffiti.

As an artist, I take offense.

I know this was tongue in cheek, but in all seriousness, art has been a vital part of human life and evolution for as long as we've existed. Even "bad" art is better than no art at all.

As I mentioned earlier there are a lot of Hans Christian Andersen-themed pieces around town. Right here in the neighbourhood where I live, he also lived, which probably is the reason why I'm able to fit three of those installations in one frame:

That's more along the lines of decorative art than what I was talking about; I was referring to vandalism. Also, anything that includes an homage to Vaughn Bode is okay in my book (there I go, showing my age again ).

I know this was tongue in cheek, but in all seriousness, art has been a vital part of human life and evolution for as long as we've existed. Even "bad" art is better than no art at all.

The arts and sciences are what make us Human.
