Your religious beliefs

I've seen other people here quote the Bible and was wondering what religious beliefs the people around here had. Vote in the poll and post and elaborate.

I describe myself as a Christian Protestants, a Baptist. I was raised as a Baptist and most likely always will be. I have memorized Bible verses in the past and unfortunately forgotten many of them. I attend my church regularly on a weekly basis.

Honestly, a religion poll that includes three separate Christian options but would apparently lump Judaism, Atheism and Agnosticism (among others) together under Other, yet breaks out Hinduism and Buddhism...I don't get it.

Either the poll seems unintentionally limited in scope, is intended to gather more specific data than general "religious beliefs" would suggest, or there is an unspoken motive behind the apparent bias.

Without further information I could not in good conscience participate.

Yep. Even considering the confined world of TBBS, it seems very limited. I might be mistaken, but I think the whole spectrum of atheist/agnostic/irreligious folk makes up at least half of the people here. We have a quite strong Jewish presence, too, and more than a few pantheists.

As for me: atheist. Specifically, a materialist-- with a dash of existentialism throw in for good measure.

Christian. I try not to associate myself with any denominations, since I don't see them as important- more a distraction.

Even at my best, I've only gone to temple about once a year. It just leaves me kind of cold and I prefer to do my praying at home.
