Archer on FX

I loved that Benoit(Balls!) joke. Archer managed to fit it in during the whole chase.
Yeah, that was pretty good. I'll be honest and admit I started doing it too after the first couple times. Although, I'll admit I'm not sure if there was something behind that I was unaware of.
Barry is also getting to be a favorite of mine too, now.

The first episode of S.2 was pretty weak, but most the rest have been gold, Jerry, gold.

The cast is absolutely first rate and the writing substantive enough to reward extra viewings. But I have also really been impressed with the attention to detail. Like in a recent episode when Lana takes a pistol away from Cyril. She clears the weapon by pulling out the magazine, then pulling the slide and ejecting the chambered round. Very few live actions shows bother with things like that, let alone animated.

I was quite scared after seeing that first episode. How a blatant "For Your Eyes Only" parody managed to fall flat, I have no idea, but luckily the rest of the season has been great. My favourite so far would have to be Tragical History (thanks to Krieger being awesome).

The commercials for it look funny, but I've never watched it yet. But based on all the positive reviews here, I'm going to check it out.

I finished the first season on DVD recently. It's very funny. I loved the episode with the airship. Archer is SUCH an idiot.

Yes there good at that in the last episode when Archer is in the hut tub you can see the 2 tattoos he picked up in the Cancer episode..now that's pretty good for an animated series to remember to keep those on him now I'll be watching everytime he takes his shirt off and see if the tats are there all the time.

For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast,
And breathed in the face of the foe as he passed:
And the eyes of the sleepers waxed deadly and chill,
And their hearts but once heaved, and for ever grew still!

Originally from this.

I'm fully caught up on Archer and like many others in this thread, I'm loving the show. Pam is friggin hilarious.

At first I found it a little odd to hear the voice of 'Carl' (the tubby convenience store owner) from Family Guy coming from a generically good looking, muscular character like Archer, but after a few episodes I got used to it.

That's where I've heard him before. He sounds familiar but I've been able to figure out why.

Same here.

It's funny. But except for Benjamin, the four main characters on Archer (Archer, Lana, Cyril and Sterling's mom) look enough like the actors who voice them that you could actually use the actors in a live action Archer movie:
Lana
Cyril
Mallory (Sterling's mom)

And put a brunette wig on Judy Greer and she could play Cheryl no problem.

He is also the voice of the Necromancer's boss on the Venture Brothers. He has a hilarious conversation with the Dr.Strange knock off as the three headed dog Cerberus.

It's even odder hearing the same voice as Coach McGuirk coming out of Archer of course Home Movies is where a lot of us first heard H. Jon Benjamin distinct voice.:)
