Another Voyager 1st-time watch thread

^ If you start looking, you will see him everywhere. He's best known for being the guy who requested mac & cheese, thus prompting the famous line: "Get the cheese to Sickbay!" He also helped Harry keep the holodecks running in "The Killing Game", and he tends to hamming for the camera at parties in the last two seasons.

Memorial is one of those love it or hate it episodes.

It's also an episode I use for whenever my sister Adrienne and I get into an argument of whether or not Janeway loved Chakotay.

Ok, I haven't seen it in a while, but how does that ep prove J/C one way or the other????

She just gives him this very playful look when he's talking about his dealings with the guy in my avatar.

At least, that's what I picked up on. There might be some other subtext that I missed.

As I remember it, and I could totally be mixing up episodes here, they all had their own visions the first time around when it all began, but when Janeway had her vision she was with Chakotay.

And now I should mention that I have a conspiracy theorist for a mother so I tend to read into things a bit too much.

I'm sure there was a J/C moment or two when Janeway was having a conniption in Astrometrics during her vision. We just never saw it. ;)

Plus, you know, they went on an obelisk-hunting adventure together. I'm sure they would have taken the opportunity to canoodle in the woods if they weren't suffering from PTSD.

Also, hope stuff gets a little less stressful for you, Shatnertage. Your avatar slays me!

Oddly enough, he's also on the bridge of the Enterprise in "Insurrection".

^ You know what? I just realized not too long ago that I've never seen "Insurrection". I thought I had, 'cause I knew everything that happened in it, and I had clear memories of certain scenes. Then, I realized that was just from hanging around here, and reading Trek books, and also watching the "Trek Movie Mistakes" videos.

I'll keep an eye out for Ashmore when I get around to actually watching it.

Haha, you see my point, though. Once you start looking for him, he's easy to spot. With his cute little cheesy grin. :luvlove:

Hey, Lurok. I know your Trekkie background is technical rather than . . . um, goofy . . . so maybe you haven't heard this great classic song:

ETA: Even if you have, I know all of us want to listen to it right now, anyway. ;)

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw: So glad I clicked that link!

"You don't deserve to wear that uniform!"

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

SO much better than watching "Curious George" again. (My son's currently obsessed with it. Driving me nuts.)

Genius, Possum :guffaw: Darmok/Locutus set to 'Blue Monday' :techman: And couple of clips not seen but presume will encounter in season 6/7. But I still think 'Picard does the mambo' is one of scariest clips in all of Trek :)

^ Oh, goodness. I am always happy to bring the Picard Song into the lives of new people. *group Trekkie hug, y'all*!!!
