Obviously, someone non-Muslim, non-Socialist, and non-black!I'm trying to think about what the opposite "politically and ideologically" of Obama is - Robert Mugabe? Henry VIII.? Hitler?

Oh the racism, it burns.Kenyan socialist Marxist terrorist Muslin
Not to speak on Robert's behalf, but just in case he missed this... His avatar, sig, and custom user title were sarcastic jokes poking fun at some of the more hysterical rhetoric directed at Obama, not how Robert actually feels. I know there's no way to have known that without knowing his posting history, though, so I just wanted to let you know.![]()
I could see Rubio running (he was a name I had in mind). Brown isn't a tea partier at all. He's actually broken ranks with the GOP too many times to be an ideal candidate. Aside from winning a high profile seat, he hasn't really stood out in Congress.

Brown would be a vast improvement over the entire GOP field.
Rubio is a tool who will do whatever his corporate TEA Party masters will tell him.
Egypt happened within a, what? 48 - 72 hour period? It was generally a peaceful coup.
Wow... Are you an American because this would explain a lot.
10 February 2011: Mubarak formally addressed Egypt amid speculation of a military coup, but rather than resigning (as was widely expected), he simply stated he would delegate some of his powers to Vice President Suleiman, while continuing as Egypt's head of state. Reactions to Mubarak's statement were marked by anger, frustration and disappointment, and throughout various cities there was an escalation of the number and intensity of demonstrations.
11 February 2011: The "Friday of Departure": Massive protests continued in many cities as Egyptians refused the concessions announced by Mubarak. Finally, at 6:00 pm local time, Suleiman announced Mubarak's resignation, entrusting the Supreme Council of Egyptian Armed Forces with the leadership of the country.
13 February 2011: The Supreme Council dissolved Egypt’s parliament and suspended the Constitution in response to demands by demonstrators. The council also declared that it would hold power for six months, or until elections could be held. Calls were made that the council provide more details and specific timetables and deadlines. Major protests subsided but did not end. In a gesture to a new beginning, protesters cleaned up and renovated Tahrir Square, the epicenter of the demonstrations, although many pledged they would continue protests until all demands had been met.
17 February 2011: The army stated it would not field a candidate in the upcoming presidential elections.[93] Four important figures of the former regime were detained on that day: former interior minister Habib el-Adly, former minister of housing Ahmed Maghrabi and former tourism minister Zuheir Garana, as well as steel tycoon Ahmed Ezz.[94]

Oh, I got so caught up in "damn, I can't believe it's already time for campaign season again" fever that I forgot to mention that I voted for Obama in 2008, and will vote for him again in 2012.
I've been disappointed with him on a few things like his personal stances on certain social issues (gay marriage) where he can use his influence to motivate people to change, his sometimes excessive need to compromise even when he should take a stand, his continuation of Extraordinary Rendition, his refusal to veto the military spending bill which blocked the transfers of prisoners from Gitmo to the US to face trials in civilian court, and his administration's frequent lack of transparency (as promised).
However, given the massive economic, diplomatic, strategic, and political shitburger he inherited from the previous administration, I think he's done surprisingly well, and none of the rogues' gallery of Republican hopefuls so far have shown that they are worthy of the office.
What the fuck is a "secular atheist country, potentially one dominated by radical Islamists"?
A country that doesn't beleive in God run by people who violently beleive in God? Yeah. Vote for that winner.

I think he meant to say "secular atheist Commie-nazi radical Islamofascists", but he ran out of space.
Oh, and they'd be stroking white cats. And twirling mustaches.
