I'm starting to become as impatient as our good friend KB24 now. I wants me another frigging trailer and some better character posters. They should be busting these out now.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've noticed lately that they seem to be waiting to do the big marketing push for theses kinds of movies alot closer to release. For a long time it seemed like they'd start all of the posters and trailers and toys as much as a year in advance, but lately it seems like they've been waiting until just a couple months before it comes out.
^ Yep. This seems to be the new trend for blockbuster films now. We're still three months away from release but even I'll admit that the marketing push for this seems lax at best. I expect we'll see another trailer sometime either this month or perhaps next month, with TV spots starting next month.

I've still got a smidgen of hope left that we'll get a novelization announcement. The fact that there has been none yet though makes me think that there won't be one. Which will make First Class the first of the four main X-Men films not to have one.

Last night a saw 3 TV adds for Thor during an hour long program. The toys hit stores 2 months before the film. 7/11 has huge banners in my area announcing Thor Big Gulp cups. Yahoo did a feature on Chris Hemsworth last week. The subway adds are full of Thor & X-Men: First Class posters.
Marketing for Thor is in full swing here in the NY area.
The only summer comic superhero film that I don't any push for here is "Green Lantern".
^ I've not seen any "Thor" tv spots yet here in Vancouver. Then again, I don't watch much television in the first place. I've seen the "Thor" Dr. Pepper bottles though. They remind me of the generic "Iron Man 2" ones.

Looking at these fan made videos makes me wonder, does anyone think they will have aBondian title sequence? That would be magical!
Scans of the Empire Magazine articles are at the MFO site now. I'm really amazed that they don't even try to be balanced and speak about Xavier more. They spend most of the article saying that Magneto is totally badass, shows up Charles, and the Fass should be Bond.

I have a feeling after Daniel Craig's bond movies are over there's going to be a push for Fassbender.
It would be interesting if his bond movies are set in the 60's
Fassbender for every role!!! He would make an excellent Bond though.

I think it's great that others seem to be picking up on the fact that Fassbender is going to steal this movie. James McAvoy was the key to the casting of Xavier but Mike might have upstaged him it seems with Erik lol.
