Trek Fest, Iowa in danger of being cancelled

The annual Trek celebration in the future birthplace of James T. Kirk in Riverside, Iowa, is having difficulty getting funded. Several efforts are in place to save it, including a Facebook page directed to to the City Council, and another to encourage William Shatner to keep his promise to return to Riverside.
