Not "The House of Nothing"

One thing nobody's picked up on yet as far as I can tell. If this Idris is in fact the
War Chief, then it blows out of the water the idea that a Timelord can't regenerate into a woman...what is Moffat setting up here? ;)
Hm, interesting thought...and I wouldn't put it past Moffat considering "The Curse of the Fatal Death." That being said, I hope he doesn't. :p

From "Blink":

"Sorry, I've got a complex life. Things sometimes don't happen to me in the right order. Especially weddings. I'm rubbish at weddings. Especially my own."

the doctor does mention he was married once, and had children in the doctor's daughter..direct reference made by 10 himself.

"I'm rubbish at weddings, especially my own." --The Doctor

Also, the "someone or someTHING" from the War Games is obvious. A SIDRAT.

If that thing from The Lodger was a SIDRAT, wouldn't the Doctor have recognized it as such?

Or do you think a SIDRAT will be in addition to the proto-TARDIS?

The uncyclopedia wikia's description of a SIDRAT:
The SIDRAT is an interdimensional time machine. The exact opposite of the TARDIS, it has some unique abilities. It is larger on the outside then on the inside. Although varying in shape and size, a small version's outside would resemble a European crime ring, however the inside is about the size of a front toilet situated in a small cottage in middle England. The house is actually quite lovely, it has two cats, a greenhouse in the garden, including some rare species of orchids and an intercomm system. SIDRAT is believed to stand for Superb Intelligently Designed Radio-Active Toast.

Yeah I think it's a SIDRAT - the Doctor has to stop lethal Timelord technology falling into the hands of another power.

I was thinking about "The Doctor's Daughter" about his most recent reference to his family but couldn't remember what the Doctor had said exactly. I don't think he's revealed anything much to Amy yet. I'm thinking about the end of "The Beast Below" when they had their heart to heart...she picks up on things and I think that's when he tells her about being the last Time Lord. Similar to the Ninth telling Rose about him in the second or third episode.

The other thing it could be is the race that the War Lord belonged to - they are never named and their planet is trapped behind a force field erected by the Time Lords. No Time Lords, no field?

BTW re-watching it again for clues, the War Lord is clearly Steve Jobs.

Here are pictures of Suranne Jones

a) She's a bit manly looking when not shopped

and more importantly:

b) She can't act her way out of a paper bag.

Worth remembering she was Mona Lisa in SJA....with a very curious Lancashire accent!

There's no evidence as yet that Idris is the aforementioned Doctor's wife...and even if she is, maybe she's Doctor Doolittle's wife rather than The Doctor's wife.

I think she's meh looking personally...read that casting, don't have a clue who she is so I have nothing to judge her acting. I must say that this Idris is yet another fascinating aspect of this series. Mystery and action!!! I think these two components are what makes "Doctor Who" so fascinating.

my belief is idris is playing marilyn manroe as a sur name, and sheen is the war chief who is responsible for the other tardis left on that house int he lodger.. and that idris is a human who is connected to the proto-tardis, and she ended up in the 50's or 60's and pretended to be marilyn monroe, and the doctor married her.. which feeds into the story..

I could be wrong tho.. :)
