Series 6 teaser!

There's an entirely different trailer on BBC America, but there's only a crappy cell phone camera version at the moment.

It's crappy quality, but some interesting visuals nonetheless, like more in the Oval Office with the Doctor. :)

Saw the Trailer and can't wait. Really looking forward to this year and if we do get a surprised Doctor appearence, that might just make the whole season for it. Still, after last year's excellent season, I can't wait to see what Moffat has for an encore.

at 37 seconds Eleven and the big glowing ball are in the 9th and 10th Doctors Tardis control room. At least, I think that's Eleven, could be Rory.

edit: I see that's already been discussed

"fear me, I've killed hundreds of timelords"
"fear me, I've killed all of them"

Who's he talking to there?

Whoever it is has gold sleeves on a darker colored shirt/jacket. Kinda looks like Rory.

We talked about this on page 3

maybe its the other 10th Doctor, in the Lodger TARDIS

It's Rory being shield by Amy

The coral desktop theme is what caught my eye.

No reason why that would be unique to the Doctor though. The Master's TARDIS used to look just like the Doctor's. (or occasionally the Doctor's painted black.)

Which is not me saying that that one is the Master's. It could belong to one of the hundreds of Time Lords The Silence claims to have killed.
Shouldn't the Master's TARDIS still be somewhere near the Silver Devastation near the end of the Universe?

Also he is talking to the Silence methinks.

What is the Doctor saying after the glimpse of him kissing River? Sounds like "Fee Fi Fo Fum" but that can't be right!?!??!

I guess we now know why the previous console room set was maintained after they built the new one, instead of tearing it down - Moffat had something in mind. :) It's most likely another time travelling shenanigan and I highly doubt that we'll see the Tenth Doctor, but I find it just as likely that A&R are sent careening around the TARDIS chasing down some glowey spherey monster and they just stumble into the previous console room, left as it was, just like Sarah Jane and the fourth Doctor did way back in "The Masque of Mandragora"...

True, i hadnt thought of it like that. Could well be the case.

I recorded it yesterday as it happened be on the tail end of that Boat that Guy Built show, full 1080p and i couldnt make out anything more than i can on my computer screen from an inch away from the screen.;)

Its an orb/bubble of somekind, either a force field or something, a contained explosion or even a time bubble, but the fact that Amy and Rory are taking cover implies something more sinister.

Hmmmmmmm.

I think it's E'by, e'by gum, which is a very country bumpkin/farmer kind of thing to say, so maybe they've arrived in 1930's Norfolk or something

I'm guessing it's some other Time Lord's Tardis, as someone says if the Silence has killed hundreds of Time Lords then maybe he/she/it nabbed a Tardis off one of them...I'm kinda reminded of General Grievess and all those lightsabres he took off dead Jedi at this...

I'd go with it being 10's console room, in the past, cause we saw that console room get blown pretty much to hell, so not much chance of it becoming a secondary control room.

And I'd love to see the old wood paneled one again.

Why not? The room itself was still intact. One argue that the TARDIS herself decided to "regenerate" her own other console room (secondary or primary or whatever, it doesn't matter) and shunt it over to become the new one, instead of repairing the really badly damaged room; the latter could thus be slowly under repair while the Doctor, Amy and Rory went merrily around time and space in the new Willy Wonka room.

If anything, I like to believe that the TVM console room and the 9-10 room are actually the same one remodeled; the rotor design and its plexiglass column are pretty similar...

There's been some speculation that the ugly, bull-like monster seen is a Nimon.

Sure it looks different and updated, more like an actual bull, but keep in mind that the Nimon wasn't one of the better classic series bad guys.

Didn't RTD say something to the effect that he planned to use the Nimon at some point, had he stayed? He said something to the effect that he wanted to use Silurians/Sea Devils too. Moffat of course ended up using them-and with the console and Nimon, is he mining RTD's unusued concepts for more ideas?

I disagree (and I know a certain administrator who would, too). In fact, I would go as far as saying they have a lot of potential if properly done. There some interesting concepts in The Horns of Nimon even if they were overshadowed by the bombastic Soldeed.

"fear me, I've killed hundreds of timelords"
"fear me, I've killed all of them"

As for who it is, If he is talking the distant past it could be Omega.

If he killed hundreds of Timelords during the Timewar then, beyond it being Davros or the Daleks (since they have killed timelords obviously), I could be related to one of the hellish things the Tenth doctor mentioned in TEOT, like the Nighmare Child, 'The Could have been King', etc.. It seems like the Timelords and Daleks were so desperate in the war, they created or used some nightmarish things to try to gain the upperhand. Perhaps the Silence was on of these things that escaped when Gallifry breifly showed up in TEOT.

As for Tardis's just because all the timelords are gone does not mean some Tardis's could not have been left behind on various planets etc..
