Movies/Series Coming To Netflix Streaming

They said on Trekmovie that they are going to be adding all of the episodes of all of the shows.

Oh, I would love to watch DS9 from beginning to end in DVD quality!

I just read this bit on LJ:

Seriously? Stop posting this everywhere, because it's not even confirmed on the Netflix site. It's probably just expiring for that instant watcher site, because all 9 seasons are still sitting pretty in my queue with NO notification that they are expiring soon (unlike my notification for "Moon," which is expiring at the end of March.) I question where instantwatcher got its information from, keeping in mind that in a quick google search of "netflix x-files expiring," this livejournal post is the top result.

It's the same for the other Fox shows as well. None of the Fox shows on my queue say "expiring". It's a mystery alright.

^I have s1 of Prison Break in my Instant Queue, a there was an expiration notice on both the website and the NF app on the PS3 and a blu ray player. Today, that notice is not there. Perhaps the rights were renewed? That has happened in the past, a notice is posted on the title, only to have the license renewed after that date passes.

yeah, see, that makes sense. But the mystery is there were no expiring notices on Buffy, Angel, Bones or the X-files (the shows I am watching right now) on Netflix. I just don't get how this rumor, if it is that, got started. If it is a rumor, it's totally lame. As if it was started by some idiotic Netflix employee trying to get people to watch. As if that makes any difference. wierd.

I'm still waiting for all Fox shows in NF to disappear for a while as an April Fools joke 'cos that's what this seems to be to me.

It's an early April Fools Day joke, it has to be. I aviod the internet then because evrything is lame.

Correction-the NF app on the PS3 is showing an expiration notice on each summary page of certain 20th/Fox owned shows thru Apr 1. The notice doesn't appear on the website, or on my BR player's NF app. I'll go out on a limb and say that those shows will probably remain, and that it's simply an issue of the streaming rights cycling thru their renewal periods. The website should have priority over the various apps embedded on players and consoles. I added a bunch to my queue just to see what would happen, and see no warning, so keep your fingers crossed.

They better not pull the Fox stuff, because I just started the first seasons of Buffy, Prison Break, and 24, and I was hoping to go through the whole series.

Does anyone know why it's taken so long for season/series 5 of MI-5/Spooks to come up, while 6 and 7 have been up for months already?

As I mentioned in the Netflix queue thread, I found Cheers, Young Indiana Jones, Twin Peaks and Andy Griffith. Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Wings and Frasier aren't available yet, and so far Firefly and other FOX shows are still in the queue.

'Star Trek' and 'Twilight Zone' are the ones I want the most...

Oh, and that new medical examiner show "Body of Proof" with Dana Delaney showed up, too.

all seasons of Mission: Impossible are up as well. :techman:

Looks like I'll be watching Twin Peaks again with a close friend.

So.... Aprils Fools joke? If so, they got us alright.

Now all we need is DS9. Come on Netflix!!!

The second season of 'Stargate Universe' has also appeared, only the first 11 episodes however.

That's probably on a month delay then. There have only been 14 aired this season so far I think.
