Not "The House of Nothing"

Actually, I think that is one of JNT's working titles. :)

Actually it was a fake working title JNT put out as part of a ploy to find out who was leaking spoilers back in the 80s. NuWho has already referenced it with The Doctor's Daughter, of course.

Ah! The long-awaited episode about

Marylin Monroe!

Oh, my! The internet will simultaneously implode and explode!

I seem to recall in a previous Neil Gaiman thread whether his episode would be a game changer based on some tidbit of information. Now for the life of me I can't remember which thread or why that speculation came up. Anyone remember?

Maybe Two settled down with that posh lady from The War Games.

So it's probably not the War Chief that's coming back, then.

Are you confusing it with the allegedly game-changing episode seven, written by Moffatt? It's possible that there's a connection, of course.

This is delightful. But even setting internet-exploding-potential aside, I'd trust anything written by Neil Gaiman. Anything.

It's probably about Lizzy. ;) Ten referred to getting married at the beginning of The End Of Time, maybe this will come back to bite the Doctor's ass.

Neil Gaiman is writing the River Song reveal all?

Not unless Alex Kingston is playing a Time Lady who regenerates into Suranne Jones, who is the guest star in the Gaiman episode, not Alex K.

It could simply mean that all the fan speculation over who River is has just been turned into mud and we have to start over! Time to dust off the "River is Romana" or "River is an older Rose Tyler" files! ;)

That said, if this does turn out to be a replay of JNT's "fake title to track down who is leaking info" ploy, that would be hilarious!

Alex

The person who beat SFX to the punch with this reveal has also said the episode used to be called "Bigger On The Inside", which I'd take as a big hint as to the truth of the episode's title's meaning.

Plus what Gaiman actually said was someone or something not seen since 'The War Games'. Which could mean a TARDIS in its native state as a featureless grey box, or the Time Lord Message cube.
