Need help

I am studying for my compass test to get into college.
However, I have never been good in math and I can't remember how to do a lot of it. Does anyone know of a free and simple online math tutor site which goes direction by direction? Also it can cover everything from Pre-algerbra to Trig?

I've used analyzemath.com in the past to help with math issues, but I suppose there are a bunch of free sites out there. I'm sure a lot of Universities have some sort of math tutorials on their web sites.
Google would probably be a good place to start.

Years ago, when I was taking a chemistry course. During a lab, we were doing some problem solving which required some math. I asked a couple of grad students who were working torward advanced degrees in chemistry. They told me they wouldn't because they couldn't do math.

The morale is you should able to get in most colleges unless you are bad at everything else or applying to MIT. You might need to take few preparatory math courses and barred from taking certain courses if you don't do well for the math part.

^ Man, I just can't figure out why none of your friends want to hang out with you!

Ouch!

I think it's complete bullshit that I can't put you on Ignore.

OR! You could be a little nicer to people.
Would you two get a fucking room?!

Anyway, http://www.khanacademy.org/

The lessons are short and simple, yet thoroughly explained.

I still suck at math, but it's gotten me through my math classes so far.

^ What, you think I'm here just to amuse you people?!

I do have other uses.

Occasionally...

Okay, I see your point.

^ I did a quick Google search before deciding whether or not to admit that I didn't know who he is. So, I know who he is now.

And yeah, that particular painting of Descartes does kind of look like him.

I'm not the first to have noticed -- http://blokely.com/life/smartass-2-i-think-therefore-i-am-/ -- see the picture caption.

The resemblance was especially notable when Parky was around 40-50 and didn't have grey hair.

Anyway, that Khan Academy site was awesome as I mentioned. I was wondering a couple of days ago if someone had set anything up along those lines. Beats the usual crap you get online. I could have done with such a resource 40 years ago.

Thats a problem. Hope GRant doesn't pay for Remedial classes, and I can't afford to pay for any classes myself. I would love to take math slow, but I can't. Once taught how to do certain things, I can do them easily.

Thank you all.
