It's the Bootstrap Paradox.
Cool thanks! I never realized there was an actual term for the phenomenon.

Obviously you aren't a newlywed!

It was fun and put a smile on my face after a rough night. The Doctor, Rory and Amy are all adorable together.

Gotta love a showrunner who knows how to mess with the fans.![]()
Moffat did reveal in the audio commentary for "The Eleventh Hour" I think it was that he is aware of internet chatter for the show and has in the past gone in forums. I think someone here mentioned he used to post at Gallifrey Base or some such site. He seems to be even more aware of what is on fans minds than Russell was.
Meh. For what it was, I found it entertaining ... a bit of fluff that comes and goes without further notice. But it just felt uninspired and trite despite the tease of a great story by showing a TARDIS within a TARDIS. The only thing I really enjoyed was watching these three perform together.

No doubt in part due to the proof that we're easily messed with.![]()
I think it can only be a good thing for showrunners in general to be aware of what their fans think of their shows. In Doctor Who's case I think it can lead to fun, playful moments like we got in the comic relief specials with Amy.

Their performance was the whole point in something this short.
