I'm not questioning that at all, just noticing a pattern.^^ From the posts I've seen in this forum over the years, there are plenty of people who like Enterprise but don't necessarily care for Trip.

Archer was more anti Vulcan than Trip and he was from New York and San Francisco, two areas know for a liberal attitude. With Trip, doesn't anyone else get a southern stereotype vibe? You know...conservative, close-minded. It's like with McCoy. He was from the south and he was, of course, the most xenophobic of the TOS bunch when it came to his attitude about Spock and Vulcans. No, he wasn't really a racist or anything, but still...
So what do they do with Trip? Same thing. At first, he's even more anti-Vulcan than McCoy and he takes the longest to warm up to T'Pol out of all the crew. Something tells me that wasn't accidental. Or maybe it was, but it still doesn't look good on the TV show.
Honestly, I dislike the whole Enterprise series.
If you've ever been cloned for a body part ... you might be a redneck. They just made him too redneck!
