What I love about this woman is that she looks relatively unbotoxed, yet looks STUNNING!
She ages so well, and the lines you see just makes her look so alive, unlike the shiny foreheaded hollywood zombies....

Completely agree! She looks "so alive" that is it!! And full of a love of life.
She always looks like she's really enjoying herself and is happy with herself, never that odd stiff always-posed look you see on a lot of actors.
Her hair is gorgeous. All light and fluffy.
He should have came back with them. Technically he would have been a crewmember so it would have been just fine for them to be together.
I think Jaffen was to distract the viewers from Chakotay since that episode was probably in the process of being written at the time. But if it was, why leave the episode open still for the J/C romance.
Plus I just love James Read, he played the dad on Charmed and he was brilliant.
Yes he really was like Mark (only better), lol. It was sad but I think her being a starship captain may have changed the dynamics just a bit. He was a good man, and a good template of what sort of man Janeway is attracted to.
Chak needed to be more forthright and sure of himself in whichever book showed their courtship, FC as I recall. I mean the writing was in keeping with Chakotay himself but surely he could have gotten his act together a bit more.. but that's Trek for you, apparently people can take 20 years to get around to the first date.
Chak did need to be more assertive. I will say that.

That was really it I think with Chak. I mean he had all the warmth that you see in Jaffen but he's just so vague.. the emo Chak of the books really had me tearing my hair out but it's not like they had a lot to work with. I don't know.. how did it turn out like that, the writing, the bored acting..

He probably should have slept with Lisa Klink. Afterall, sleeping with a writer is how Jeri Ryan got Seven to be so well formed. She was dating Braga during most of her time on the show.

To be fair, it should be noted the same criticism was leveled at Kate during the early part of the show - she was dating director Winrich Kolbe (in spite of his scary mustache) when she landed her part on VOY. I recall some gossip article or bit on our UPN affiliate that talked about it way back when. I was pretty young at the time, though, so I don't remember the hullabaloo very well.
ZOMG are there any other naked KM appearances that I need to know about? And I am not even asking for perverted reasons. I just want to make a PG rated fiddle and need a head-and-bare-shoulders shot. The ones from Voyager won't work for what I have in mind.
