Never heard of the guy, but it strikes me as funny that a bunch of these hippies who took a bunch of drugs, had a bunch of free love, and experimented with crazy things seem to out live a lot of people who were very careful with how their cared for their bodies. Maybe Charlie Sheen will live to be 100.

A really legendary figure in some circles. The great Steely Dan song "Kid Charlemagne" is based on him, that's enough to immortalize him to me. RIP.

Never took acid m'self, but two mates told me about the time they dropped some and went down to the historic courthouse in town (the one in this pic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bathurst-Courthouse-Pano-2.jpg ), at about 1AM on a frosty night, and they told me the bricks were made of gold and being held apart (as in cement) by millions of crawling, tiny white ants.
