I really can't wait to get my hands on this novel, although living in the UK, I'll have to wait til bloody May. 
No pressure, but this book has to restore my faith in the modern Treklit line. The only books that hasn't made me doze off and given up halfway through in the last 14 months is The Sorrows of Empire, Zero Sum Game and Rough Beasts of Empire. And the last one was because I was too pissed at what had been done to Ben Sisko.

Sincerely hoping that my local Borders gets a copy reasonably on schedule. They just - FINALLY - got a copy of Paths of Disharmony in the last couple days. I had already given in and ordered it online. I'm actually kinda glad I did, as the copy in the store was not trimmed straight.
But I'm a member of the Borders reward program, so between the coupons and the standard 10% discount, I can get new Trek for just over $5.00, so it pays off to be patient.
Still, I tend to get antsy when I know a new book should be on the shelf and isn't. Wish they would let me use coupons on special orders.

Or you could try the Book Depository. I've gotten a few books well in advance of the proper publication date for over here.

Yes they do, I got Paths of Disharmony from there when they shipped it in from the states

It's the end of term here, so I've been able to sit and read IFM all day.
Note: no spoilers as such, but if you want to "go in blank" you might not want to read this...(just my overall thoughts)
I'll wait for the inevitable review thread before saying more, but overall I enjoyed it. Not spectacular, but solid. It had a different "feel" from a lot of the recent novels, and it was nice to experience a different stylistic approach. The TNG label felt very appropriate; the novel seemed like an ambitious outgrowth from that series in particular. Again, I'll say more later, but there were quite a few areas in which the book was definitely a TNG story; it should be accessible to fans of that show whether or not they read the whole novel line. It just hit a lot of the "this is TNG" notes, the recognizable features, while also (as I say) being ambitious with it. It was a lot more than "an episode in novel form" but it did fall comfortably within the confines of what a TNG-viewer should be familiar with. So in that sense it was certainly a success.
The plot was interesting; maybe a bit too ambitious in a way. I'm not sure it entirely worked, but it definitely gets points for some interesting ideas. And I liked how some elements touched upon a sense of discovery and wonder like we get in "Titan" without this becoming in any way a Titan book. Again, it felt very TNG throughout, and so handled the potential overlaps in theme quite sensibly. I liked that; it had the potential to step on some cross-series toes but avoided it. Same with "Destiny" actually - at first I was a bit concerned that some details of the early scenes might come across as a rehash of Destiny, but they didn't. In fact, I came to appreciate how the inevitable comparisons in the back of the mind (and touched upon in dialogue) gave an ever-so-slight sense of tension to these early chapters. Nothing strong or overtly acknowledged, but subtle. Nicely underplayed, if that makes sense.
It's not the strongest character work (but not bad by any means), and there were some shaky aspects, but overall it was quite good, particularly for bringing a sense of "classic TNG" back into the post-Destiny novel line. And doing so in a surprising way, seeing as Picard and Enterprise are mostly absent. That was its primary strength.
There were some nice developments to the ongoing novel continuity, and a good balance between making it fit with earlier works and introducing new details that remind us of the time gap between this and the other post-Destiny books. Small but useful references to Titan, Voyager-relaunch and Typhon Pact. And I'm glad one long-standing issue was finally resolved; that was satisfying.

Well, maybe I did and maybe I didn't... But yeah I expect to get lynched for a couple of things in this!
I'm half dreading and half looking forward to what the audience will think, but I'm glad you "get" it as a TNG book.
From my POV, I think it shows that it was originally intended as two books, that got stuck together; I think it probably shows that it's written by an author coming from a Dr Who background; and, hopefully, it shows that it's written by somebody who really loves the show...
And for those who've read my DW stuff, I think this one will come over as a different tone - more dialogue-heavy and less action-based (relatively speaking!)
