Gonna Get Cancelled?

Fringe is the only one of those that I watch on a regular basis. Not at all interested in the others.
And according to John Noble, Fringe is out-doing the expectations of the network. Certain assurances were given when the show was moved to Fridays, with a minimum set, and so far theyve out done it every time.

This is one show I hope doesn't get the boot, particularly when the 3rd season is (mainly) so compelling.

Less than a month ago I had never seen a second of Fringe, now I'm fully caught up--probably the fastest I've ever torn through a TV series.

John Noble's performance as Walter/Walternate alone is a reason to watch this show. This guy should have been at least nominated for an Emmy, he is an outstanding actor.

I don't know how I missed getting into this show earlier, particularly since I'm a big fan of parallel universe stories.

I love the event great show as well as V both should be renewed for another season.

wHy bcuZ uu Ike it ?

Your spelling aside, I guess most people want shows to be renewed because they like them ;).

In my case Fringe's ratings are crap despite the fact or not that FOX is the main reason why the erosion began to occure in the first place. Despite the fact FOX should pull the plug I hope they don't.

Sadly for fans of V, The Event and Fringe - were probably all going to get shafted :p

Just because you like a show doesn't mean it gets renewed. The Event is deader than dead, same with NOF. Some shows were not meant to be. I'm amazed Fringe on this poll is so low. It'd not a do you like the show poll, it's if you think a show will get canceled. The list is pretty good too because without a doubt 80% of the shows are dead.

Looks like everyone is betting on The Event bieng gone. I hope not, I like this show, it holds my attention. Most of these shows I don't watch. I watched Harry's Law the other day, I liked it. I don't care for cop shows. Bob's Burgers I think was dead before it was even put on the air. I don't see why Fox can't see that Futurama needs to fill this void. The Cleaveland Show needs to go. Poor descisions by Fox has been ruining them for a while. The had a perfect line up on Sundays for years. King of the Hill is way better than Cleaveland, but oh well. The real shame is that theres just never really anything on and any good or decent show that is on doesn't get watched because people flip channels and watch reality "stars" act like asses. I can't remember the last time I actually saw a historical program on the History channel. Oh and Outsourced is less funny than the Situation on Trump's roast the other night.

the comedy channel has futurama . Wait for season 6 for that show.^

have'nt watched fringe yet probably will get them on dvd later this year .
as for bob's burgers it's funny .

TV sucks so they could get rid of almost everything and I wouldn't care. They'll just replace it with more short-lived crap. I used to love tv but my interest has seriously waned as the quality has precipitously dropped. I think we are seeing how tv becomes obsolete in the future--inundate us with recycled predictable junk.

The Event is dead, good riddance. V is almost certainly dead, even though it's been improving and where they left the cliffhanger, there are some interesting things they could do if they got an S3.

This is the first season I can recall where they could cancel every last show on broadcast and I wouldn't care. There are only a handful of basic cable shows (Archer, The Clone Wars, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad) that I'd miss either.

The more shows that get cancelled, the more opportunity there is for a few really good shows that are worth watching! I say take a scythe to as many as possible! :bolian:

The Event is deader than dead. At this rate I'll be amazed if they bother showing all the epsiodes.

Fox had a chance to take up Futurama before Comedy Central did, but they were/are too stupid to make a good decision. I'm glad it's back on the air, i'm just sayin it would have fit in perfect with the Fox Sunday line up.

I do wonder how "Bob's Burgers" got on the air.

------------

Pitch-man - "My series will..."

Fox Exec - "SOLD!"

Pitch-man - "But you didn't hear..."

Fox Exec - "SOLD!"

Pitch-man - "Okay."

Haha, yeah it's pretty weak, not a fan of it--I think Fox feels they can put just about anything in between The Simpsons and Family Guy and it will get decent numbers.

Looks like NBC has gone with the FUCK IT route, we might as well get to a decent syndication package and several seasons for DVD's despite the ratings...

A route that served fans of Scrubs and 30 Rock well in the past ;)
