Awww!!!! While "Path of Sorrows" is definitely a better character episode, particularly for Galen, and it introduces the Hybrid ship... "Racing the Night" is just a perfect encapsulation of what the series could have been. Had great action, great CGI (well, except for the homunculus!), great story, cool moments, the Box...

Can someone give me any info on the Lost Tales comic? It's the only one I don't own (cos it wasn't made available in NZ).

Can someone give me any info on the Lost Tales comic? It's the only one I don't own (cos it wasn't made available in NZ).

Sadly, the mini-comic was only in a small number of Lost Tales packages sold at Best Buy or at that year's San Diego Comic-Con.

It's a 6-page comic featuring Franklin and G'Kar that fleshes out Lochley's Lost Tales line that they've gone exploring 'beyond the rim'. Being so short it's not much of a story but it's a very sweet tribute to the two departed members of the B5 family and the back cover reads "Dedicated to the loving memory of Richard Biggs and Andreas Katsulas".

For those interested, I have a small supply I can make available to folks here (unfortunately not for free). PM me if you're interested.

I would suggest only doing the novels. How many of us have actually read those short stories that only appeared in a magazine? I think I may have like three of them but I don't even remember what they're about. How many of us actually read the comic books? Aren't they all out of print?

I'm the opposite; I haven't read any of the novels yet have read the comics and short stories (cos I have them all, with the exception of the Ivanova season five short).

I have read a bit of City of Sorrows but that was ages ago.

I wouldn't bother, this thread looks like it's dead anyway. Just goes to show how much Babylon 5 was a tv show first and foremost and not much else.
