To ensure the V's evolution, Anna continues to focus on Lisa breeding with Tyler. Meanwhile, both Erica and Diana urge Lisa to save humanity by removing Anna from power. But, even with the help of the Fifth Column, an attempted coup by Lisa has devastating results.

so Is this going to be then of the series or the end of the season and be back for season 3.

Correct.

We don't know yet, ratings have been fairly low, and it barely got renewed for S2, and was cut from 12 episodes to 10 for S2 and it hasn't been renewed yet. So, if there is no renewal for S3, we'll likely be stuck with a horrible cliff hanger.

There is a slim hope that things have changed enough in audience appreciation for the show, that they may at least renew for a few episodes (or miniseries) to tie everything up

According to their Facebook page this is their last broadcast show/season.

Well I will be pissed! :scream: Its not often that the writing on a show comes along that is as gripping as this is...Too many things to even predict...All to often in sci fi things become so predictable... My wife and I could see some things coming but not everything that happened tonight. Some of you may disagree but I think that the writing team on this show is really doing a good job - short of a couple of minor plot flaws. I really hope that this gets renewed for another season...I picked a hell of a week to quit drinking...

Now that was really good.

But I've been bummed coming to check out these threads after each show, seeing so few participants, and most of what little comments are bad. Seems so many abandoned ship.

So much happened. So much changed. New things were set in motion. It will be a big disappointment if it doesn't come back to continue.

Tyler eats it (well, gets eaten). I haven't seen the whole episode yet, so I don't know if anybody else dies.

So... Ryan dead. Tyler dead. Diana Dead. Chad... on his way to dead. Lisa in "the drippy cave." Secret government agency sitting on its hands. Earth blissed. Hundreds of motherships arriving. That's the way to do a cliffhanger for a possibly (likely?) cancelled show. Miss anything?

Oh well. I'll miss it. <snore>

what if they go the way of stargate and do some V movies to wrap the story up. I have thursday off and I have all 10 episodes on my DVR so marathon.

If this is the series finale, it's a pretty good one. Shows what would really happen in the face of alien invasion: we lose.

I have to agree with you.:techman:..This was a classic season fiinale and Series finale :bolian:, only if your the type of person that likes to leave things hanging :cardie:. It is one hell of a way to go out, but it really should and could go for another season if the networks have any F.... :scream: sense. We shall see.....

It was an excellent finale and as stated, this is what would happen if we faced an alien invasion.

Not only Tyler's well-deserved death but Ryan has had that coming to him after what he did to his girlfriend.

Loved the Loreena McKennitt music at the end. I think it was "Incantation".

Better cliffhanger than "ooh, the sky is red!" They certainly went for broke!

Excellent

I can't believe it... V possibly ended with its very best episode. That was awesome. Just the fact that they killed off the two most annoying characters on the show would have gotten this episode an excellent grade. But overall, this episode was awesome. I did not really care if V survived past this season, but after seeing this episode, I am now hoping for a season 3.
