Being Human Series 3

Bob The Skutter

Complete Arse Cleft
In Memoriam
So Being Human is back for the third series, it starts 9pm on the 23rd. Looking forward to it, may have to go watch the previous 2 series now.

Aha, so they've finally set a date. Been seeing trailers for it all week with just "coming soon" on it.

I loved the first series of this show, but the second really didn't do anything for me until the last episode.

Considering where they left it, this series should be very interesting though.

Not sure when SPACE will be showing season 3 of the UK version here in Canada, but the US version is starting Monday. I think it'll pale by comparison, but I'm going to give it a look anyway.

Finally, a date! I'm rewatching s2 at the moment so I'll be finished just in time.

One thing though - why has Nina had her hair done to look like Lyn from I'm Alan Patridge? Being a werewolf is no excuse!

Just finished watching the first series, from Netflix.
Aidan Turner is fine, but Russell Tovey really is special. His shameless use of falsetto alone would be worth a documentary study. You know the show is kicking into high gear when George starts screaming like a girl. Sort of like a well written version of True Blood, which is good because it doesn't have the nudity and soft core porn thing that sells True Blood. On one level, it's all still dumber than a bag of hammers. But if you think of it as a comedy about a an agoraphobic woman separated from an abusive husband, a thirty year old Jewish virgin with doubts about his sexuality and a drug addict living together (the supernatural stuff is just for color,) then it has a certain heart.

If you think of it as a comedy, then season 2 is not going to be easy to watch, especially not the last couple of episodes...

it is offical 2/19/11 season 3 of being human the good version will start at eight and run to nine fifteen. Plus all that week they will run season one and two .
I can't frank'n wait.

So the series starts in the US tonight. I'm really enjoying this series so far and it looks like Herrick returns this week.

Holy titty fraking christ. Anyone else seen 3x07?! Talk about a curveball. Wow. That was one of the most tense TV moments i've had since the end of BSG :p

Poor Nina.

I thought this season has been a bit all over the place. Not really enjoying it as much as previous couple. I really don't like the Annie/Mitchell thing. On the other hand, Nina is turning into an awesome character. I really like her. Maybe I'm just focussing on her because she impresses me so much, but she seems to be taking over the show. I don't know which number episode it was but the episode where Herick came back and the CPN came to visit was bloody awesome! :techman:

^I've really enjoyed this series, but I am a bit sick of the recurring "Mitchell goes off the deep end" stuff every series. Though it looks possible he might actually die and not come back because Aidan Turner is gonna be in The Hobbit and the schedules look like they'll probably clash.

I was wondering about that - the filming of the hobbit is for two years and as I understand it he's a fairly central character. Also the other cast's stars are raising so I'm not sure how they will be able to keep any of them for any period of time.

Thing is though, Mitchell might have gone off the deep end again but this time he was right. Herrick was still a completely psycho who he should have killed straight away, and letting him be arrested probably will screw up the entire world when they find out about Vampires, assuming some miracle doesnt happen at the 11th hour.

Oh I don't disagree that he was right. He's almost always been right in what he was doing. Other than massacring 20 people like/

"Wouldn't want people thinking I'd gone soft now..."

I kinda dozed off for a couple of minutes in the middle - do we know how Herrick saw off McNair (who by the way, has been brilliant and I'm gutted he's dead). What did McNair write on that piece of paper? How did the Nancy Drew girl whose name escapes me end up in the train carriage evidence bay? And finally - and I think this was clear actually - has Herrick really simply been lying all this time? He truly is a Magnificent Bastard. We still don't know how exactly he came back!

And what's with this show and killing people off off-screen? First Tully, now Daisy!

Have only recently discovered the show, so I don't know what "version" of creating vampires this series uses. But is it likely that our lady copper is now gonna vamp out?

If so, she might still play a pivotal role in what happens next; maybe even fill the role of resident vampire in the next series when the actor playing Mitchell goes down under.

I'm pretty sure that the other vamps aren't going to let Mitchell's arrest ruin their big secret. They'll do whatever is necessary to cover heir collective ass. Which means that a certain police station in Cardiff is probably gonna cease to exist real soon. A real disaster scenario that leaves no survivors, destroys any records of Mitchell's arrest, and which will leave Mitchell's fate a mystery, so that they can get away with eliminating the character so that the actor can honor his "Hobbit" obligations, yet leave the door open for the actors possible future return.

Sound at all plausible?
