------------------------------------------------------

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards was down from last year but still scored a very impressive...
37.60 million & 11.7 demo rating

Last year the Oscars scored
41.30 million & 13.3 demo rating.

CBS tried to air originals against the award show...

The Amazing Race - 7.62 million & 2.1/5

CSI: Miami - 8.18 million & 2.0/5

The demo shows it wasn't a smart thing to do and with CBS so eager to seemingly burn off an episode of CSI: Miami, you have to fear for its future.

^ In my Axe/Renewal list I have it as Likely to be cancelled, I just don't see more episodes being produced.

Yeah I noticed that, I was kind of surprised by that. I guess I'm cynical and jaded because I think in the end, the insane amount of money that show generates will trump all this other craziness. Neither side may like the other side, but they like the green stuff rolling in.

I like what David Letterman said last night. He listed all the crazy things Sheen has done in the last couple of years, beating hookers, treating to kill his wife in front of his children, having hookers hiding in closets, being in and out of rehab three times in three months. They never cared. He makes fun of the creator and he's fired!

Mad Love keeps proving it's not meant to be.

Mad Love - 7.95 million & 2.7/7

2/21 - 8.02 million & 2.8/7
2/14 - 3.0 million & 3.0/8 (Pilot)

Was Rules of Engagement doing better in that Monday slot cause it's not doing any better than $#*! My Dad Says at Thursday.

And since every episode is the same anyways, they can be forgiven for not recognizing that it's a repeat.

NBC has annoucned it WILL NOT air The Cape finale  If they think it will end up selling more DVD's because of that then they are very mistaken.

Awful show so no one will care NBC.

That is very true.

If the show is canceled they can just keep running reruns for years, no one will know. Or better just take clips from different shows and create entire new ones!

It seems Universal and FOX are still no closer to agreeing a deal for House season 8 though I doubt the 7th season will be the last even if NBC has to air the show in the end. However I can't help but the feel the 8th and most likely final season will be shorter than 22 episodes.

If you were NBC wouldn't you want House?

I hope it moves to NBC, makes more room for Fox shows that I like a lot more than anything on NBC.
