In the last week...
Example 1:
Whilst clearing out, washing, drying and ironing the contents of my airing cupboard (for those not familiar with the term it is a small room where you chuck on all the clothes/linen that you should wash and can't be arsed to at the time)... So I discovered some fav clothes, some disasterous attire, and lots of single sheets
Some clothing I thought quite nice but not of a favourable colour so I purchased black dye and decided to 'go Gothic'.
Unfortunately the only thing that went black were my hands ~ on reading the packet I realised I should have worn gloves for this particular procedure.
But still the chosen clothes remain, stubbornly, their original colour, allbeit, a tad darker. And I was made to explain to a checkout lady that commented on my, admittedly, filthy hands and fingernails.
WHY did the dye chose to change me and not my clothes
AND also today I decided to paint my kitchen ~ WHY has the white paint spread to all my other rooms, my hair, my person, Sir Squeak (the cat) and decided not to stick on the ceiling where it rightfully belongs?
Please tell me others have had different DIY disasters...
