And no cramps, so at least it worked for that. I need to get sleep, though. One of my sisters is hopefully popping out a baby this week and I'll need to be able to make a 2 hour drive with little to no warning.Regular Tylenol puts you to sleep? I don't think that's a normal reaction.
I've been to the doctor a few times and I was started off on vitamin B6 and given migraine meds, but it's not enough. Apparently the next step is to put me on the combination pill, which means monitoring me for blood clots due to my age and weight. I'd rather have my ovaries removed and go on estrogen. A friend of mine had a hysterectomy in the fall and says the estrogen she's taking has made her feel better than she has for years, so it sounds tempting. I know it sounds radical, but I'm 42 and am most definitely not having any more kids, and I'm tired of being bedridden for several days per month.I sympathise with you ladies. I've reached the point where gouging my ovaries out with a plastic spoon seems a feasible option. I get not just terrible PMS, including migraines and extreme exhaustion, but I sometimes feel the same when I ovulate, so I have double the fun every month.![]()
