I've been the recipient of a one-day-ban. (Granted, it was a bullshit move and the mod who gave it had it out for me) but still.

I've gotten into huge arguments here with other posters.

Interesting. A case of "wash, rinse, repeat" where someone is concerned, eh? People who start threads with the intention of simply stating their rock-solid opinions and aren't open to debate make me laugh.

Confession: I was having so much fun reading that thread that I completely forgot that I had bread baking in the oven. By the time I had my Ohshit! moment and ran to the kitchen the bread was, erm, nicely crusted. I am now officially a graduate of the Janeway School of Cooking!

I really, really, REALLY recommend Dragon Age 1. I'm not sure if you need to play it to understand the story or not. But it is a very cool game, IMO. It's a little easier to pick up if you're a longtime fan of BioWare games like KOTOR or Neverwinter Nights as it's a Dungeons and Dragons-esque RPG, but I don't think it's that awful to play as a BioWare newbie. Just don't play your first time through as anything exceptionally squishy. And take every battle seriously.

Kate provides the voice for Flemeth in Dragon Age 1 as well, not just 2. Another reason to check it out! Tim Russ is in 1 as well.
