Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
So does no one watch Chuck anymore? Or are all of you too afraid to comment on Yvonne Strahovski in the belly dancer outfit because of what will happen to you after Robert Maxwell's thread in Misc.?
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
Last night's was better than I had expected--it was rather entertaining however it doesn't really change the fact that what was once a "must see" show is one I've come to not care about as much.
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
Pretty enjoyable episode
I loved grandma Bartowski, the hopped up on parent-adrenaline Awesomes and freaked out Chuck/Sarah
It had what makes Chuck such an enjoyable show.. Humor, heart, some sexy (damn.. bellydancing Yvonne ) and something insanely unrealistic but awesome (yeah.. fire a RPG/missile at a room and everybody survives in it with no scratches ).
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
When Roan mentioned his past with the general, I thought it would be nice if they gave us a flashback or two and they delivered. The two of them didn't look even remotely young, but I guess it was supposed to be tounge-in-cheek.
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
It's still a must-see for me every week, even if it gets predictable at times. The chemistry of the cast overcomes the show's flaws. It's just plain fun to watch.
And yes, Yvonne Strahovski was very, very sexy this week. "You should just be wearing what you're wearing, like, all the time."
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
Chuck surprises Sarah with her old spy team, The C.A.T. Squad, leading to a mission in Rio. As The C.A.T. Squad works to settle a score with Augusto Gaez, old secrets and grudges come to light. Back at the Buy More, Morgan fends off the advances of Carina, a former flame and frisky member of The C.A.T Squad.
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
I thought it was funny how Lou Diamond Phillips essentially just kept getting knocked around. Also, the C.A.T. Squad intro was pretty hilarious. A solidly enjoyable episode once again.
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
Valentine's Day is interrupted when Chuck and the team are sent on a mission to England to protect a reclusive young heiress, Vivian McArthur. Meanwhile, Casey gets an offer from the mysterious Jane Bentley. Back at home, Ellie and Awesome find an unlikely solution to a parenting problem, as Morgan ponders a big move.
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
Did tonight's episode feel almost like a new pilot to anyone else? Some of the scene set-ups, the situations they put Chuck and Casey in, Morgan's arc. The way they're writing the new character, Vivian.
Fedak and Schwartz also co-wrote the episode tonight, and it showed. It was one of the most 'right on' episodes in some time. I always enjoy 'Chuck', but this was especially good.
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
Great episode, expertly subtle use of Jeffster. The Vivian chick was pretty hot. I'm curious as to what they're going to have Casey do, it's good that he's getting his own thing though. Can't go wrong with more Casey.
Re: Chuck: Season 4 (Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski) Discussion/Spoil
Yeah.. pretty good episode even if half of it was setup for a new arc it seems (hoping for a 5th season? )
I nearly died of laughter during the Valentine's day scene.. that was pitch perfect but the rest of the personal stuff didn't disappoint either. The character are developing further and i like those changes.
So.. Chuck is cruising along on a good course. At this level i could do with an additional season or two.
