It's hard to believe it's even the same show...

For ten years, you've watched a boy take the steps towards becoming the man. Then you watched as he took ten steps backwards and one step forward.
Now the CW thanks you the viewer for watching a show about a guy that kinda resembles a man two Jewish kids made up in the 1930's.

I guessing he wore a bald cap. Look how short his hair is by his ears. It would make it easier to apply the bald cap. Wild guess but it does seems noticeably shorter than the rest of his hair.

Speculation on Kryptonsite's message boards is they filmed his scenes early to accommodate his schedule. That the scenes of the finale without him will be filmed later on. If they filmed 3 days of Lex centric scenes that could be a lot of screentime in the actual episode.

SPOILER: Rosenbaum only filmed one scene, where Lex puts on the Superman outfit and flies away, leaving Clark on the ground angry that he is unable to follow him. :lol:
 
Which goes against what he has said before that he would never wear a bald cap. Methinks he was tossed a few bags of dough.

It's tradition! Only one actor has played an evil bald Lex Luthor with a shaved head. Kevin Spacey.

Lyle Talbot, Gene Hackman, Scott Wells, Sherman Howard, and John Shea all donned bald caps for their scenes in which Luthor was bald.

So Rosenbaum is maintaining tradition in being a "faux bald" nemesis of Superman. ;)
 
Still makes him a hypocrite lol. There was speculation from fans that the bald cap thing was one of the major reasons why he hadn't returned sooner. The finale if they're on schedule won't probably be filmed until sometime in March...I think they have usually wrap things up in April.
 
I seem to remember an interview around season 8 where Rosey said that if he returned to the show, he would don a bald cap, because he was tired of shaving his head.
