Btw, if given a choice: I can either save the world, then have noone remember it, and then NOT get the person of my dreams, or live through 2000 years (OMG, the things I could see), and then help save the universe, and then GET the person I love, I would choose the latter over many many things, not just the first option.
So Martha was done by, while Rory is a lucky SOB.

I give a slight edge to Martha because "Last of the Time Lords" looked like absolute hell. On the other hand, I do kinda envy Rory for living so long and seeing the progress of mankind. Rory is more than twice as old as the Doctor.

I can't wait for Rory to play that card next time the Doctor tries to act big and scary by saying that he is 907 or 908 years old...

I just want them to run into a situation where Rory can correct the Doctor on his Earth history because Rory was actually there. Perhaps he's even crossed paths with an earlier regeneration of the Doctor and didn't realize it.
