My guess - part of the publicity machine is going to see the TARDIS visitng US chat shows etc (or indeed this weekend's Gallifrey convention), or episodes 12/13 will return the the US setting just as last season returned to Leadworth.

Yeah three weeks ago was well past when they were doing press there. That was back in November/December I believe.
It has been a long night for me. I thought we were talking about the guardhouse in the forefront.
