How is Janeway sexy?

"Good Shepherd" is great! I'm pretty sure Tal Celes is a much cuter, more Bajoran version of me. So it's sort of like having my very own Mary Sue. :) Plus Mortimer Harren making Janeway roll her eyes every 15 seconds along with Tom Morello and a sneaky little J/C ending make for a fun time. :)

Star Trek:TMP is boringer than boring with a topping of boring. (I feel wrong saying that.) So good on you for "losing" the disc, lol. I should "lose" my VHS copy.

And agreed that there needed to be more to J and C making up at the end of Equinox. They clearly got a good start by picking up the plaque and Janeway actually calling herself out. But that was just the beginning, and we never got to see what happened after. That was lame.

ST: TMP is horrible. I don't understand why I ever liked it. I wouldn't say that's it's worse than ST: FF, but it comes pretty close. However, God needs a Starship. :D

Ah, Mary Sue's what would we do without them. The actor in Star Trek I resemble the closest is Nicole de Boer, I still extremely dislike Ezri (Jadzia FTW). Out of all actors I resemble Grace Kelly most of all :)

I'd like to look more like Kate but her chin's much more defined than mine. However, same smile ;)

EDIT: Don't just "lose" ST: TMP. Burn it. Throw it off a cliff. Smash it. Destroy it. That is my advice.

ST:FF is camp, camp, camp. It's a hoot.

And now I would like to report on my Gin Rickey(s). They were awesome. I thought they would be too strong without some sweeter mixer such as tonic or lemonade but NO they were in fact.. the black coffee of booze. Refreshing, streamlined, they were a Captain's drink.

Yes I had three of them.

That is all.

I'm a trained bartender.
I could make them for all of us.

It's a Gin Rickey party!

It's a Gin Rickey party!

GIN FOR EVERYONE!

I can't believe you actually made them, teacake! Taking one (or three, in this case) for the team!

That's some Janeway devotion right there.

This is what it looked like only taller. And probably with more gin. Since I made it myself. That was the brand though. Yes this really has a lot to do with Voyager, REALLY.

It's devotion Jim, but not as we know it.

I always imagined Janeway was lying about having her coffee black. She was probably sneaking shots of whiskey into it :) I know I would.

Ok. I think you guys have corrupted me. Drinking is not something I have ever talked about.

I don't tend to drink (you know, being only slightly underage and all) but at a friend's party where I had to help clean up and corral all the drunks and freaks, I took shots of whiskey and tequila with coke chasers.

Sounds like my high school days. I would "clean up" while getting a couple of drinks. Also the way I would dress for one of my jobs in Washington I could get drinks because I worked in the eating area of a bar. People thought I was 21. I was a very very bad girl after Voyager ended.

I justify the shots (of which I have had 2 total) by figuring that neither my friend, myself, nor Janeway, would want me to strangle anyone or cause any sorts of physical harm to the crazy, idiotic drunks.

And now we return you to our regularly scheduled programming...

WHOA.

If I was the actor who got to fingerpaint on her lower back they wouldn't even have had to pay me.

Lol! Yeah. I just drank to drink then. It was the time of experimenting and after my interest in Star Trek waned my interest in partying spiked. I stopped when I met my husband though.

Agreed. :D

So is that lucky or unlucky for Mr. mairbeariepie? ;)

Well . . . . . I'll never tell.

To be honest, we weren't even supposed to date. He was my older sister Natasha's ex boyfriend while she was in college. But she ended up dumping him for his best friend and then I found him and well . . . It was in Vegas. And a legal friend may have bought drinks for us and after a few cocktails and shots we may have decided to get married.

And we just never had it annulled. I was nineteen ;) I don't think either of us has regretted the decision not to drink, but if we do well it brings back some memories.
