It's time again for a new contest...

Episode:
The Menagerie
Spock hijacks the Enterprise to take his crippled former captain, Christopher Pike, to the forbidden world of Talos IV. He then demands a court martial where he uses the events of "The Cage" to tell the tale of Pike's captivity on the planet years earlier.
TOS Theme:
Non-humanoid aliens: Any non-humanoid aliens that appeared in TOS, TAS or the TOS movies are allowed.

Random Theme:
Sentai/Power Rangers: Anything related to the Power Rangers or other Sentai.

TrekBBS rules apply; The maximum size of your custom image is 140x140 pixels and 140kb.

This is (roughly) a bi-weekly contest so entries will be excepted from now till Fri Feb 4th (10 days), with the subsequent poll lasting 4 days.

Maybe not in its natural form, whatever that may have been, but onscreen, it took on a vaguely humanoid form to interact with Kirk & Spock. Head, torso, two arms, two legs.

^ Since it's my theme and I used the same alien for my entry, I'm going to allow it. ;)

 Too funny a coincidence, Anton. :D

Well, "vaguely" is the operative word here. The bottom part of the Yarnek doesn't look like legs, and barely the suggestion of two "feet". We never see the thing get up and walk around, though. It seems pretty well stuck where it is. Plus the head is far from anything remotely human.

Hey Orac, since our entries are so similar, I decided to go with a different Episode avi:
