I'm a bit stumped, trying to find out what the name of a certain Droid is

Its in Episode 4, where a few of them are briefly seen driving on the floor, they look like roller skates with a pyramid top on them and they are black, they also make an atypical Droid noise

Can anyone answer this lol?

they are called mouse driods . I don't realy no there duties or functions . but they were also in episode v as well on the superstar destroyer . I don't know if they were in return of the jedi . they also were in " blue harvest " . oh and the jedi use them aginst the yuuzhan vong I forget what the use was.

Just saw something about that, the droid is made of casting of Artoo's middle "foot" or a spare, however you want to think about it.

It was an "online" documentary, Star Wars Begins.

There's a great bit in one of the X-Wing novels where the protagonist's astromech is hidden on a Star Destroyer, and it keeps on snatching mouse droids and reprogramming them, slowly building up its own secret army.

I never got into that little subset of SW novels, that sounds like a fun subplot.


Since the OP's question was answered, can I throw another one out? My wife doesn't keep up with forum discussions as much, and was wondering if anything ever came of the possibility that Qui Gon and Schmi played a little game of "hide the lightsaber" during their stay on Tattooine. I told her it seemed like the issue had dropped off the radar, but I thought I'd bring it up here.

I don't think so . It does'nt seem to be qui gon's thing or a jedi's . I do belive he had feelings for the dark lady though never acted on them . now here's a good question.

oh, it is. X-Wing: Solo Command IIRC.

They appear in ROTS, ahead of Anakin as he is about to slaughter the Separatists.

I wasn't aware there was even an issue to get on the radar in the first place. There was no indication of any attraction between the two of them in TPM. Is this a popular pairing somewhere, because your post seems to indicate there's been a lot of discussion about it?

I know Rule 34 dominates the internet and all that, but the most they did was sleep in the same house and go watch space NASCAR, once. Qui-Gon didn't seem too broken up about having to leave her behind, though maybe he's the f-and-run type.

I realy doubt it . Like I said before he is a jedi I know some have done but I don 't think Qui gon would with anikin and padme and jar jar there is in the same house.
besides he was focused on anikin and the mission than a romp in the sand trap .
If there were feeling he suppressed them after his last altercartion.
