Favorite/Least Favorite Super Bowl Ad?

I'm suprised no one's created this forum yet.

All right. As you all know, the Super Bowl is famous for having simultaneously the best and words commercials of the year.

This year...we saw:

Dr. House spoof a classic Coca-Cola ad (with a twist at the end :p)...

Eminem do not one, but TWO commercials--a truly awesome Chrysler ad which dramatically proclaims the triumphant return of The Motor City, and a hilarious BRISK claymation in which the rapper pokes fun at his public persona...

A GoDaddy commercial which pulls an admittedly clever fast one on male viewers...

Two Doritos commercials--one with a resurrection theme, one with a Robau-Dog...

Two ads which basically poke WAY too much fun on classic charity commercials...

A Sketchers ad with Kim Kardashian...

And of course, a Coke Zero ad which managed to tick off Sheila Jackson Lee.

There are a whole bunch of others--(Pirates 4!)--but which one's your favorite, and why? Which one do you hate the most, and why?

Take it away!

Here are my favorites and least favorites.

Favorites:
Darth Vader Kid
Eminem -Import from Detroit
VW - New Beetle

Least Favorites:
Groupon - Tibet
Stella Artois - singing Adrien Brody
Audi - Rich Prision escape

On a side note, really missed not seeing a Budweiser Clydesdale ad.

^Same here.

I remember the ad with the "Rocky" theme (Gonna Fly Now), with the Dalmation training the horse....:techman:

That was a classic.

The Pepsi MAX commercials were my favourite, the couple having dinner in the restaurant in particular.

Well, it started out about just one ad before people started listing all their favorites, but there was this other topic if you want too read the responses there.

I'll just repost mine from that thread:

I think there's been a gradual decline in quality ever since the dot-coms have gotten more heavily involved in the advertising. Not all of them are bad, mind you, but to me they seem to be more lackluster on average than some of the more established companies. Maybe that lack of panache and wit has rubbed off on other advertisers who think it's enough to just get the namedrop during the Super Bowl without wasting a lot of money on making the commercial itself.

But I do think there's been a noticeable decline in quality over the past several years. Watching the commercials used to be an event I looked forward to almost as much as the game itself. Now it's kind of an afterthought, and if there are five halfway poignant or funny ones at best I'd consider that pretty good.

On that note, my favorites, in order:

1) Chrysler-Eminem-Detroit
2) Volkswagen-Vader Kid
3) Volkswagen Beetle-Black Betty
4) Chevy Camaro-Miss Evelyn
5) Audi-Release the Hounds

So, at least car commercials seem to be keeping the tradition of classic Super Bowl commercials alive.

Now, the worst:

- GoDaddy: Your commercials are always poorly done and tasteless.
- Doritos Finger Licking Guy: Just creepy as all hell.
- Snickers: Hey, let's do the same gag as the Betty White commercial last year, but worse.
- Bud Light Kitchen Remodel: Yeah, uh, Heineken already did this one with a remodeled Heineken closet.
- Chevy Cruze Facebook Status Updates From Your Car: Unless your car is armored against potential assassination attempts, your life is not interesting enough that you need to do status updates from it.
