Anna's latest gift to Earth is "Concordia" but she's really hiding an invasion fleet of breeding vessels. Eli sees "Concordia" as the perfect time to assassinate Anna and sets about convincing the Fifth Column to carry it out.

So they remembered the jackets have cameras when Anna watched Tyler receive a gift from his parents, but then they forgot about the jacket cameras when Lisa warned Erica?

Above Average. That was...surprisingly not terrible. All the scenes aboard the mothership were the standard "stand around and exposit" style the show usually uses, but the planetside stuff was pretty good. I liked the editing on Erica's dual plans, there was some tension and things actually happened. I also liked the through line with Tyler's birthday and Erica's cakes – its small stylistic touches like that which most other shows use and V has so far been lacking. Having the three of them act and feel like a family did wonders for making Erica not look like a clingy, desperate mom and helping Tyler not come across as whiny brat.

Still: why the fuck doesn't Ryan clue any of his Fifth Column companions in that Anna wants him to spy on them? They all know she's got his kid; it would be a perfect opportunity to plant some disinformation. Anna clearly doesn't know what the hell he does inside the Fifth Column, and she seems perfectly fine just trusting that he's telling her the truth. It makes Ryan look like an idiot for not playing on her credulity.

"We cannot sacrifice innocents!!"

"Tyler might die so F the innocents!!!"

stupid cunt. Every episode makes me hate the "good guys" more.

I also have a hard time with her rationalization that killing around 300 innocent people was somehow unthinkable, even if the result would've saved ALL OF HUMANITY.

Only the Human peace ambassadors have jacket cameras.

wasnt it revealed last season that Marcus may have his own agenda? Will be inetersting to see what happens now in light of last nights events.

Not a bad episode, something seems to have turned around in the writers room... is Rockne S O'Bannon the new showrunner?

But still.... fifth column? Why the fuck do they still call them the Fifth Column? its so wrong. A Fifth Column is a group that works from within a larger group they are trying to bring down from within (ie the good aliens in the original V on the motherships). What Erica and her little book club are is a RESISTANCE MOVEMENT working against an a superior force that is occupying their territory (ie the French Resistance vs the Occupying Nazi's). To call it anything else is incorrect and stupid. And I thought people (including the aliens themselves) calling the Visitor's V's was dumb.

Yes last season they introduced some mysterious arrangement with Marcus and Hobbes when Hobbes contacted him about some scary weapon the Vs were afraid of.

this was actually a very good episode. and yeah, i kinda wish Tyler had taken the bullet.

Yes, people will sometimes leave the channel in the same place because they can't think of anything else to watch.
So this is the first time in weeks I've seen this.

It is extraordinary how foolish this show is. As soon as Joshua figures out how to detach souls (or whatever.) Ships need platforms to land on. This is necessary for the soldiers to seize the women. Sniper vs. bomb as a moral quandary, which any fool wants the bloody sniper. And my personal favorite, Tyler is essential to the Concordia plan but as soon as he opts out (and Tyler haters should be in glee he's going to find himself on an offscreen two month motorcycle trip!) there suddenly is an alternative.:guffaw:Which renders all the conflict the whole episode pointless (except for Erica's personal feelings.)

(emphasis mine) - please cease with the use of such language in this forum. It's completely unnecessary. :vulcan:

They were stupid and should have killed Anna. They had a couple of good shots they could have taken. Luckily this is a fake show or we would all be doomed with this fools running around trying to save us.

One part I find annoying is the "get rid of the human souls" mess. This is lame and just seems so out of place with this show.

Well sorry but her character's logic just made me very angry.

I get confused about what is allowed here and what isn't. In some subforums it seems cussing is fine, in others not. Maybe it's just the dreaded "c" word.
