What inspired your non-Star Trek username / nickname?

It's a book by William Gibson, one of my favourite sci-fi authors. I wanted to have something with a sci-fi connection that wasn't Trek related. Plus, it also sounds like a name, a Count by the name of Zero. On another board most people just call me Zero, one of them even in real life.

Do they ever say, "Count Zero interrupt?" :D

Mine is a nod to 2 historical figures that I admire for their ability to not abuse it when given great authority and near absolute power. Cincinnatus of the Roman Republic and George Washington, who was called the American Cincinnatus.

No, that's only you. :)

"Timby" is a nickname I picked up from my high school baseball team, back in freshman year (1998 ... wow), stemming from a contraction of my first and last names -- "Tim B." = "Timby." It's stuck with me ever since.

I play guitar and, well... don't wanna get too politically incorrect, so you can probably figure it out.

I like pr0n. I like (and practice) kung fu. A trait I share with Dragonball's Master Roshi.

Because my number is 867-5309.

I signed up several times, but kept forgetting the clever usernames I used to sign up with. I finally had to use something fairly easy.

Well, a few years back , not that anyone on these boards know, I was absolutely addicted to Neopets. Totally irrelevant? Not exactly. I started playing as pianolego123 [as I also loved legos at the time], to be anything but pianogirl again. ANYTHING. So there was that.... Eventually, as I quickly became an extremely popular member of a Neopets forum called the Jellyneo Forums, I decided that I seriously needed a new, permanent nickname, even started a whole thread discussing options with my friends there. Piano has always been a large part of the personal definition of me, so that was kept in there. I wanted to also express my superior skills in piano playing, so I thought of Wizard. Piano Wizard. Not that I changed it to that yet, but that was an option for a small while. PianoWizard, it became, and I thought that had a nice zing. Loved the z that was in it. Then I thought, but that's just not unique enough. There ought to be other PianoWizards on the internet. As it turns out there were. So I thought, and thought, before long, came up with the derivative Wizzy. Piano Wizzy. "Yuck, a space..." So PianoWizzy. No username like it. I had my unique username. PianoWizzy I became back maybe 3 or 4 years ago, PianoWizzy I am today and PianoWizzy I'll likely be for years to come. :D

I was listening to the Proclaimers' album Sunshine on Leith when I signed up. Jones comes from Cheech & Chong's Basketball Jones. No, it isn't even close to my real name.
