-----------------------------------------------------
FOX continues to pimp out Human Target to every timeslot but it continues to dissapoint. American Idol as a lead in and it cannot crack 10 million and 3.0 demo, very dissapointing.

Blue Bloods confirms its fate as a friday show and why CBS thought otherwise is beyond me. However I would move it to 9pm fridays next season and put The Good Wife at 10pm due to their low demos but high viewer totals.

Some Fringe news here...

last Friday's episode added 0.5 to the demo with three days of DVR viewing for a 2.4 Live+3 adults 18-49 rating. That’s down 11% from the 2.7 Live+3 adults 18-49 rating for the Friday premiere.

However its likely the DVR + 7 could make up for the loss but as long as the SD rating remains anything like 1.7 or above (currently 1.9) we should be fine for a 4th season.

We sci-fi fans like to blame FOX when things get canned but they did give it a prime slot to get some new eyes. I admit I'm not watching it so is this the type show where a 3 demo is desired to survive? How a big a bump is this in viewers from it's other slots on average?

Umm what?

What timeslot are you talking about? The one that was great after House that Fox thought it was smart to move to a death slot?

I just said I don't watch. Back down, jeez.
American Idol sounds like the best possible slot so if it started with House, which would be good also, it's a shame an audience couldn't be found. That only compounds the problem. TWO great lead ins and floundering ratings.

Looks like Human Target's numbers have really gone up. I wonder if it has a chance at renewal now.

Not a chance, out of Idol it could only muster a 2.6 demo. FOX are just burning it off, hoping that some slot might work along the way. Human Target could of formed a good partnership on fridays with Fringe but FOX didn't seem to care about that since they need somewhere to air Kitchen Nightmares & Hells Kitchen over the course of a season.

What a shame because y'know tv just needs more "reality" tv...

Hells Kitchen airs summer and the fall, which I don't understand. I would keep it as a summer show with Hells Kitchen as a midseason/spring show and air a scripted show before Fringe. FOX seems so eager for people to watch Human Target then maybe a short 13-15, 3rd season with some promotion in the fall might work, at least worth a shot.

but reality is cheaper and sadly awful.
