I believe it was a TV show, but it may have been a movie. I know I saw it on television, for whatever that's worth.

I'm pretty sure it was early 90s. I don't know if it was stand-alone or an episode of some non-serial series (hehe, that's funny to type) like The Twilight Zone, but here was the plot.

I suppose I should say SPOILER ALERT even though I don't know what I'm spoiling.

A guy, I think an artist, somehow encounters this winged devil type beast thing, and it doesn't kill him as long as he promises never to tell anyone else what he saw. He agrees, and shortly there after he meets a hottie and they fall in love and get married and make two little artist/hotties. When the kids are like in the 6-10 range, something sets him off and finally tells his wife what happened the night they met, and she starts crying and says "You promised!" and turns into the devil beast that he saw that night, and then the kids run in crying and they're little devil beasts. Don't remember if it ends like that or they kill him.

Anyway, every now and then I think about that show. I'd love to find it and watch it again.

Surely someone here knows what I'm talking about.

I can't imagine it would have been Tales from the Crypt. Those were like three 17-minute jobbers crammed into an hour, right? I think this thing took the whole hour, but I can't be sure. It may have been one of the others, I don't recall watching any of them, but I wanna say this was back in the USA "UP All Night" days.

Here it is. The segment you're looking for starts just after 13:00 into the first video.

I made a video using The Cape's opening with the theme from Smallville...Save Me by Remy Zero and it said it was blocked in all countries. I deleted it. :(

Yeah, Google's got pretty smart music fingerprinting software on YouTube. Any audio you upload is checked, and if it's not licensed (meaning Google isn't paying some RIAA member a fraction of a penny for you to hear it) then they just strip it out completely.

2 of my videos are blocked in Germany coz of music rights.

Which is a little silly because that's free advertising for the songs.

 Most of what the RIAA does is "silly," to put it politely.

It is really dumb coz my vid was blocked but other vidz with the same song played.

YouTube is slow to take video content down, but songs they're all over in a flash.
Yes, entire copyrighted movies can remain on YouTube for a long time before they're taken down. One whole movie, the bizarre 1968 Hammer flick The Lost Continent, was up for more than a year before it was removed. Too bad, because there were some really funny zingers in the comment threads. It was like having an online MST3K party.
