TV Renewal/Axe List (February Sweeps)

Well I'd love for $#*! My Dad Says to find a way to make it. I admit it's cause Shat makes the show and not cause it's without flaws.

When CBS announced they were putting 2.5 Men on hiatus I was hoping $#*! might see some more time but alas they put those dollars into Mike&Molly which I don't find as fun. Maybe cause I'm not fat and there are only so many fat jokes that are funny in an 18min span.

Frankly with the truly sad state of television the last few years but most especially this season they could pretty much get rid of everything on tv currently--except Human Target, Gossip Girl and Harry's Law--and I won't be upset. I was actually happy to see networks willing to scrape so much of tv last season instead of renewing crap however it is clear all they will do is replace it with more crap that nobody is interested in which is cancelled only to be replaced by more crap--quite the vicious circle.

I mean just look at the list of crap that has come out--V, The Cape, Invasion, Surface, Life on Mars, Haven, Persons Unknown, Stargate Universe, Stargate Atlantis, The Nine, The Gates, Covert Affairs, The Whole Truth, Law and Order LA, No Ordinary Family, The Event, Mercy, Trauma, Eastwick, Bionic Woman, Knight Rider, Kidnapped, Ugly Betty, American Idol, Skating with the Stars, Outlaw etc

As long as CSI: NY and Fringe get renewed, I'll be okay. Don't care about the rest of the toss ups.

*Passes the tissues*

I think NY will be the first CSI to be canceled, which is actually my favorite. Not that I watch any of them, but the repeats I have seen I really enjoyed it.

Thankfully, this looks a year where I really won't lose any of the shows I watch. That doesn't happen often, although I suppose it's easier when most of the new stuff sucks so hard...

Too bad about Human Target, that's a show that's fun, and is at least a little unique. Another one I'll miss is The Good Guys. Wasn't exactly a heavy hitting show, but felt great as a Friday night show, or a summer series. Light and fun, will miss that one.

The rest? Meh
