Former 'Smallville' Actor Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

(RTTNews) - Actor Sam Jones III, best known for his role as Pete Ross, Clark Kent's best friend in The CW series "Smallville," has been arrested for his participation in selling illegal prescription drugs. The actor has since pleaded guilty to conspiring to sell over 10,000 pills of the drug oxycodone.

Jones, age 27, was picked up by federal drug agents in 2009 for illegally pushing prescription painkillers. He will receive sentencing in June and could spend as many as 20 years in prison for the crime.

I knew who this was gonna be before I even clicked on it. I guess this is what happens when you don't get your Stride gum.
 
Well it all depends you get caught trying to sell large amounts of drugs by the feds and you are going to do some serious time.

You should tell that to my local police. Drug crimes in the USA are a waste of billions of dollars a year.

I know someone who has sold drugs for 20 years now. She has spent 3, maybe 6 months in jail because she is paying off the police. So really the war on drugs is only if you aren't white, otherwise no one really cares.

Plus they ban pot, a completely natural plant, yet have cigarettes that have 400 added chemicals to make you smoke more. They ban Four Loko because young people were drinking them instead of going after the stores selling them to minors. They also banned it for "bad food additives", but once again cigarettes has them and tobacco is a food (it's an herb). Let's ban incense and bath salts. What will be next? Morning Glory seeds and nutmeg? Both you can get high from.

It's supposed to be a free country, free countries would let their people do whatever they want to do to themselves.
 
When you're said you're "best known" for a role you've on played a handful of times since you left the show seven years ago your career is pretty much over.
