Snowboarding like a hoverboard

I'm doing a snowboard season in Val d'sere and love it.
It occured to mne the othe day how its almost like hoverboarding especially when you're flotaing though powder. It's great if you've never tried.

When I imagine myself hoverboarding or snowboarding, I just see myself falling over and smashing my face into the ground.

Everybody's snowboarding is like that to begin with. Mine sure was.
