^Quite correct Kestra. There's always room for pie.

Together? That sounds vile. I'll take my pizza and cookies in SEPARATE containers, please.

Me too. The idea of cookies and pizza together is vile.

A pizza and a 12 pack of beer in the same container though.....hmmmmm, the possibilities....

Speaking of Pizza AND...

Several years ago, a new joint opened in my city.
A pizza parlor/ice cream parlor.
One establishment and they offered both pizza and ice cream (although not together, I'd imagine).
It didn't last long, closed up after a year or so.
I never went so I don't know the deal.

My city is a really big pizza town, so the competition is fierce for good pie. If their pie wasn't strictly top notch, I can see them going under (regardless of the --and ice cream, too)

Was that supposed to be a good combo?
Pizza place and an ice cream place in one?

I don't know, you tell me.

Hmm. A Pepperoni Pizza, Tollhouse Cookies and a six-pack of Twisted Tea all together. Maybe they could throw in some barbecued chips....

My roommate came home raving about this yesterday, and I thought it was a brilliant idea as well.

So yes, there is a market for this.

Now they just need to bring on the Pizza AND WINGS!

Last weekend I was over a friends house and they had the food channel on. Apparently somewhere in America there is a restaurant that serves pizza made with the dessert baked right in. They had like chocolate chip pizza, skittles pizza, gummy worm pizza. I am a fat ass and love both pizza and sugar, but it didn't look particularly appetizing.

There's a place here in NYC called Pie that has dessert pizzas. The best (well, the only one I've sampled, but I can't imagine how anything could possibly be better) is a Nutella and banana pizza.

Dessert pizza is nothing new, but it's hardly the same as regular pizza. It doesn't have pizza sauce or cheese or anything on it. It's basically a giant cookie or pastry that they cut into "pizza" slices.

Sadly, microwave wings are invariably terrible.

I have a better idea:

Certainly an odd combination to box together and, really, I'd rather make my own cookies than buy the bake-n-eat ones from the store. Those always taste like ass.

I wouldn't even buy this if I bought grocery store pizza. Which I don't. In fact, I have never even had a DiGiorno Pizza. And further, have no plans to change that status.

I don't often order pizza, because the way I like it (with all the meats) is high calorie and high fat. But if I do splurge and order it (maybe 1-2 times a year...although I cannot recall ordering a pizza in well over a year now - I'd guess late October/early November of 2009 or earlier) I order it from a decent place. Because if I'm gonna have those kinds of calories, I may as well really enjoy them.

But in any case...I don't think that pizza and chocolate chip cookies go together at all. But I guess there will likely be some sort of market for it. Maybe to parents with small kids who don't care if their children grow up to be overweight junk food addicts.
