I think it's very striking here that the makeup artists were not afraid to let Ziyal resemble her father.

I'm back; sorry to miss the last one, it coincided with my temporary self-exile.

Here goes:

"Never play with glue, kids. Or you'll end up like me".

While Ziyal was never a favourite of mine, her artistic talents and the scenes related to her ambitions there, were always reasonably interesting. I particularly like this scene, where she sits between Kira and Dukat and talks about "bringing people together"; the disconnect between her idealistic hopes for her peoples and the individual reality of Kira and Dukat - who can never be friends - is wonderfully uncomfortable. Ziyal's blind spot when it came to her father was well played, and tragic. She simply couldn't understand what Kira does - that Dukat is a pretty despicable man. And her hoped for unity between her two peoples is sabotaged when she casts Dukat as the Cardassian side. An interesting and emotionally complicated scene.


I'm afraid I don't watch films very often, so I honestly can't enter the random theme...

I love the new Avengers cartoon! I thought Ultron looked a bit different, but I guess there's more than one kind.
