Yep, like I said, those weeklies are a step in the right direction. Are you doing Episode 2 yet? I heard that is the best one so far! I havn't played it yet, but am dying too!

Not yet - I may today once my WoW dailies are done, but there's a lot of good football on this afternoon so I may just watch that too.

Get a TV next to your PC. That's how I got through that lousy first game.

Have you gotten to the Devidian episodes yet? Those are, on the whole, pretty good (though, fair warning, the last one is, to many people, a bit of a letdown).

I did play a bit last night and finished the 'City on the Edge of Never' story, which WAS kinda fun. Although how come I went through the Guardian and ended up inside my spaceship? Hmm...

It tells you how in the description. You go back to your ship, and the Guardian opens a portal in orbit for your ship to travel through.

The guardian told you. It was a necessity to right what went wrong, so it was returned to you on the other side.
Then again, it's just game mechanics, right?

And uh... how did the Klingon dude get all those ships?

Starting 25 Jan to 4 Feb, they are having a 20% off sale on lifetime subs for both Star Trek Online and Champions Online! Now only $239!!! I have been on the fence to pull the trigger for STO, but this may have just made up my mind!

I don't mind it being a little difficult, because that can add to the fun and the challenge.

But when what seems like the Second, Third, and Eighth Fleets appear to take down one ship...

New enemy ships spawn each time you destroy a fragment of the comet.
So the intended tactic is: shoot the comet-->destroy the ships-->shoot the comet-->destroy the ships-->shoot the comet-->...you get the idea.

It's not difficult at all. Just a little tedious.

And disable the leading ship first. I've been told the new spawns will be easier to handle then. I haven't put the theory to the test myself though, as I handled the mission just fine in the described way.

With mines and torpedoes with torpedo spread, you don't have to destroy any of the Klingon ships

The comet fragments also drift out of firing range of the Klingons. A little patience is required but it makes things less miserable.

I wish "disable ships" was a SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for EVERY mission! (or at least an option)

At least on most missions. I get that there are "Full War Mode" episodes where disable is out of the question, and nobody in their right mind would leave a Borg ship in any shape to regenerate.
But pretty much all criticism toward the Federation and their "Eliminate every ship in your way" policy would be gone if disabling hostile ships would be an option. You could even encourage it by awarding Diplomacy points if you manage to fullfill the no fatalities objective during a mission.
On some missions the result should even be failure if you destroy the adversary.

I like this idea, and it would add a bit more to the scenario instead of shoot them until the blow up. Maybe even have a BOFF skill be target weapons or target engines to disable them.

Some Science officers and the Nebula (off the top of my head) have that as a skill...but it's only used to help make them blow up faster.
