Cast for a TNG-esque prequel movie?

sorry if this is the wrong area for this topic or if there was already a similar thread. BUT, pride and prejudice aside, I was thinking if the Star Trek movie back in '09 was based on the crew of TNG instead of TOS, what actors would you have cast in such a film? Here is a list of actors I had envisioned. Feel free to add-on, criticize, appraise, discuss, etc. Click on the actors name to view an image of them. Be aware that my list is a work-in-progress. Why on earth would Ro Laren be in a prequel when she would be little older than a baby in occupied Bajor? Most of the actors you're showing are in their 20s or 30s, Ro Laren shouldn't be in it. Whoopi Goldberg would play Guinan again because we've seen her twice in pre-TNG situations.

Would this be a feature film remake of the TNG pilot? We've already been given that story.
 
Why would we need a TNG prequel, anyway? 'Encounter at Farpoint' established it was the first time that group of folks worked together.

Even though Picard & Beverly are clearly older than everyone else. Picard "hired" Riker as first officer without meetin' him. Picard met La Forge durin' a shuttle tour. Riker knew La Forge before that.

Yeah, screw that.

That's okay... we can make Picard a bad boy who doesn't join the academy until he's 45 and then rockets right to commanding the flagship!

Hmm, if this is a prequel movie (that means resonable budget)

Picard: Tom Hardy or James Marsters
Riker: Tom Welling or Ian Somerhalder
Data: Cillian Murphy
Guinan: Whoopi Goldberg
Worf: Isiah Washington

Thats all I could come up with
