As Starbreaker said, it was painfully unfunny. It was easily the worst show Fox has ever aired .... and that's the network that did Herman's Head and Woops!

Are you insinuating that there was something wrong with Herman's Head?

No. I'm saying Fox has shown an enormous amount of crap over the years, from American Idol to Beverly Hills 90210 to ... well, the list goes on and on. And in my opinion, this show is easily the worst of that lot.

Wow, I watched it hoping to see some extra strength enter Animation Domination. Instead, I saw Bob's Burgers. And I agree, putting American dad at 7:30 is a HUGE mistake. I'm interested to see what ratings come in for it, I'm sure they had a look in audience give how they were advertising it between every play in football for 3 weeks, but what will happen to it next week?

They aired it at 7:30? Yeah, I guess that's not the best spot for it!

It's ratings were rather high I think. Stupid people watch stupid stuff and there are too many stupid people around.

Yes... too many stupid people... 9.42 million, a 4.5 demo.

I watched for ten minutes and didn't see a joke my 10-year old couldn't have done better.

That's what I'm saying! it was just so immature!

The 4.5 rating is disturbing, but it had an amazing lead-in (The Simpsons had a 5.7 thanks to the NFL).

Unfunny. The animation style was okay, sort of early-day [adult swim] is the best way I can describe, which I like. But the writing was just horrible, and the voice acting didn't help any.

Complete crap . I sat through it just to give it a chance . Didn't even grin once . I had more fun watching the ants that covered the lollipop my daughter dropped in the yard .

I actually didn't see any promos, but tuned in because of Kristen Schall and she was the best part of the show for me.

But a fart joke less than a minute in? Really? And they kept going back to it later in the show? Yikes.

Well to be fair it wasn't a real fart, it was a noise making device that made fart noises, and the humor was derived from how annoying the child was to the adult in that situation (Bob) not from the fart itself. Whereas Family Guy will actually film a fart and make that the entire joke. But whatever.

I remember seeing a preview clip for this on the Family Guy It's a Trap DVD and not being impressed. I caught the final ten minutes of it Sunday night while waiting for Family Guy, and was even less impressed. It's just not funny, and sitcoms are kind of required to be funny.

And the diner owner also has a specialty hamburger that's called (get this) the "child molester." Oh, stop! You're killing me!

No, he doesn't. His child changed the name of the special because she thought it would be funnier than "New Bacon-ings". A lot of the humor was (or tried to be) derived from the kids messing things up for their dad.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a great show or anything, but at least get the storyline right when criticizing.

I wanted to give it a chance. I remember not laughing once during the pilot of King of the Hill way back when either, and I grew to at least enjoy that, even if I never loved it. This seems....pretty hopeless though. If they needed a new animation show, I wish Sit Down Shut Up from a couple years ago had succeeded - I laughed a lot more at that than I did at Bob's Burgers.
