8 pretending to be someone else, trying to remember what he said to himself, while talking to 5 is hilarious.

I really wish Troughton and Pertwee could have lived long enough to have contributed to Big Finnish's line of stories.

I finally subscribed to the monthly audios at the beginning of December just so I could get this Four Doctors audio. They've made it clear it will not be available for purchase from BF, the only way to get it is to subscribe. I'm just wondering ... How long does it take to get the cds? On the website, they say they got the cds in and shipped out on the 16th of December. It shouldn't take THAT long to get here, should it? (and yes, I made sure I subscribed to cds, not downloads)

I purchased a CD from Scotland in late-November. I got notification that it shipped a few days later. It arrived in Baltimore last week.

Remember, the UK's postal service has been fucked to hell due to the snow. Plus, the higher-than-usual volume of mail due to Christmas.

I'd probably give it another week, then contact BF customer support.

Jon would have loved it, but his voice was clearly weaker in the earlier Radio stories he did for the BBC. He only missed the Big Finish and DVD extras era by three years.

You are entitled to download as well though, it will be in your account.

Pertwee did contribute, albeit posthumously. For Zagreus, BF got the rights to use voice recordings Pertwee made for the fan-film Devious, and incorporated them into the story.

As for Tom Baker, I think we'll see him come to Big Finish sooner rather than later. Right now he's working with BBC Audio (or I guess they're called AudioGo now) but I noticed that sometime last year BF started to become a distributor for BBC Audio, including the Tom Baker releases. So if the two companies are becoming more chummy, I could see Baker coming on board. Considering most of his TV companions are involved with Big Finish, it would be cool to hear a new Doctor and Romana adventure (probably Mary Tamm rather than Lalla Ward) or a story featuring Leela. I bet BF could probably even swing it to get Elisabeth Sladen back to do one if they get Tom.

Sarah Jane? Tick!
Harry... Ian's dead. :(
Leela? TICK!
K9? Tick! Tick! Tick! Tick?
Romana? Tick! Tick!
Adrik? ...Manuel from Fawlty Towers actually... Half a tick?
Nyssa? Tick!
Tegan? TICK!

Yup.

Just about everyone.

Tom Baker has tentatively agreed to do Big Finish audios and Nicholas Briggs working on several scripts to send to him. I think the first one is done or close to it. Reportedly, Baker has been bugging Briggs about seeing the script. Plus Sladen and Jameson have expressed interest in working with Baker again.

Just wondering how old they'll play Sarah-Jane off Four?

Remember Pertwee reacting to portents of "teeth and curls"?

How would Sarah Jane make Four timid about the future?

She'd seem age appropriate for him?

Liz was 25, playing a 20 year old and Tom was 40esque playing 750ish.

I know she isn't into him, but she at the time probably thought that he wasn't into humans so was never insulted by his complete obliviousness of her immaculately well put together bits and pieces.

But seeing all that gobshite about Rose had to be a little sickening, that although she might not follow it through it must be nice to know that if she does sex it up he's not immune. A small moral victory knowing that "its" there only if she wants it.

Big Finish isn't allowed to touch NuWho but I doubt they can violate it either.

So the only way this could really work is if it's during their adventures together which worked quite well with Tegan moaning on about the the Mara and not trusting Turlough and Turlough insisting that if he had redeemed himself then that bloody Ozie had better accept it that he's not evil any more because her obnoxious suspiciousness is boring him...

The rumour went she's be availible if it was with Tom, but apparently it's never been a problem according to Gary Russell. She's not off limits as far as Cardiff is concerned.

I think if she did any stories with Tom it would be set during her era. No reason not too. I don't think she knew how she felt till he was out of her life.

Janet always said she'd just do one story to stop them asking, and so they took the opportunity to do something different. Then two years ago Mark Strickson had the idea it would be great to get the of them back together, and Janet said at a convention she'd been emotionally blackmailed into doing more (it couldn't go ahead without her) As it happens, the way they did those stories 5 and Turlough still could have met elder Nyssa. But she's happy enough to do more now, and is even doing a Lost story.

Over the past 12 years I'd got used to Tom not taking part, but I think it's aided the other Doctors considerably not being in his shadow. I think even Paul has more stories than Tom. Maybe that's why Tom wants to do more now!

Certainly if he does do some it won't have been without some coaxing from Louise, Mary, Liz, Nick and John.

If that's the case, why haven't they done any Companion Chronicles with her? They did an ongoing series called Sarah Jane (which was before the Companion Chronicles started) prior to the show, but once the show started, Sladen stopped doing anything with Big Finish.

Just listened to this one myself. It was fun, though not only was there little Doctor interaction, what there was was kinda eh. I liked the conversation between the fifth and eighth Doctors, but the final scene was pretty eh. (One good laugh line, though.)

5 must have been confused since the only bloke fromt he future he was remembering he might budge in on was 10.

This is not the first time they have told a story like this.

The first big finish monthly had villains bobbing between doctors I think.

I have this word in my head "companion-war". There was an audio adventure were 5 and seven had to sort something out without direct involvement so they each sent their companions into the fray to get shit sorted.

Her agent is probably able to command a lot more money. And lets face it, if a Tom Baker series ever gets off the ground its bound to be their most costly series ever. But the increased sales should counter that.

Companion Chronicles are relatively cheap to produce.

Liz is rather proud of her audio series, with her daugher Sadie. Continuing that series (which ended on a massive cliffhanger) might not get passed Cardiff at the mo, but the character herself could.

Indeed it did, though the three Doctors spent the entirety of Part Four working together.

Yup, it's The Veiled Leopard, one of the DWM freebies. It features Peri and Erimem trying to stop someone from stealing a jewel-- and Ace and Hex trying to steal it!

I've been wanting to listen to that one since I first heard about it but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anyway to buy it unless it shows up on eBay.

Do a search on ebay for "Doctor Who 367" ... I just did and found several that have the magazine with the cd for under 20 bucks.

And here's one off ebay for 10 pounds .... http://www.thewhoshop.com/issue-march-2006-p-2473.html

Oh, that's a good idea. I didn't think to search for the magazine itself, just the actual audio play.

I'll look into, and the prices are reasonable, I'll buy it. I'm not actually ready to listen to it yet because I want to listen to more Erimem and Hex stories (I've only listened to The Eye of the Scorpion and I'm waiting for The Harvest to arrive), but it might be a good idea to have it already when I am ready to listen to it.
