Nicolas Brendan weighs in on the Buffy remake and as expected isn't thrilled about it. Calling it a mistake. I believe he's the first cast member to speak about this.

I was looking at some pics of Heather Morris...she kinda has a weird face.
I was watching Britt in the movie "Triple Dog" recently...she handles action and comedy very well...I'd definitely pick her.

^^ She's a long-time Buffy fan who's just been given the biggest break of her life.
She calls herself a fan, but I don't think a real fan would want to do this project without Joss Whedon or be stupid enough to think something as good as what he did can be done without him. She may have be a fan at one point. Now she's just a deluded sell-out. As others have suggested, maybe she just accepted this gig because it's her big break/last shot at the big time, but what about integrity and respect for the creator of the property's vision? I don't see it.
Am I the first person to say "Not into it myself, but I wish it every success"?

^ Exactly. If there was some kind of high morale standards of people honoring films and television series then we would have no remakes in the first place. I blame the Kazulis moreso than this Whit Anderson, she's just their tool anyway. As a writer myself i wish her well but honestly have no interest in this film. I think it is a harsh critism to put too much blame onto her alone. If the Kazulis themselves were more respectful to Joss then this wouldn't be happening. I could care less if they offered him the job in the first place. This shouldn't have been a conversation.
In the interests of accuracy, I have to correct this mistake that you keep making: Kuzuis, not "Kazulis."
