It looks like a made for TV sequel. Somehow a little soulless.
Now, that might be because I'm still a wee bit cranky from the last two movies.
And zombies... OY. What a way to cash in on the current craze.... And a tad obvious.
Where are the vampires?

I going to see the film regardless (I really enjoy the franchise), but the trailer was decidedly low-energy.

Yeah, this looks pretty entertaining.
Also, this movie removes two of the weakest links of the last three films, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, so this film is already an improvement.

I have to admit that this trailer raises my interest level somewhat higher than it was before which was zero. The last movie in particular damaged my interest in the franchise. Second one was okay. I dunno if I'll see this in theaters but will probably watch it on DVD.

Wow...I must be in the minority who actually liked the increased mythology and (granted it's open to argument) storytelling depth of the latter two films over the first one. Granted all of the backstabbing got a bit crazy, but it's a pirate movie, and what's a pirate movie without everyone's agendas coming into conflict? Heh.

The trailer looked good and was well put together. It seems like it tried to have a first, middle and last act. Unlike say Cowboys & Aliens, I feel like I got a good dose of most of the action sequences in that trailer. But I liked that in the mystery of the C&A trailer, not spilling too much of the movie, just whetting my curiosity.
I'll second the obvious cash in craze with Zombies but hey why not after all they crazy shit from the last two movies. Those also tarnished my interest.
I may yet see this in theaters but it's going to depend on additional trailers.
I'll have seen THOR twice by then and since Kung Fu Panda 2 doesn't interst me I'll either go the theater and see this or pass.

As to the new trailer, I quite like the look of this project (the new cast is good, and I like seeing some of the minor pirate figures still around). Plus, Depp and Rush were always the highlights of the series (Knightley was very good too), so more interactions with them is a winner to me.
Yeah, I really liked the sequels. Not as fresh as the original, of course, but they couldn't be.

Decent teaser. Penelope Cruz felt a little wooden, but she only had a few lines, so who knows.
Some other websites have been saying that this movie has the biggest budget of any movie produced so far.
If that is the case I'd hope a little more of that budget appears on the screen when a real trailer comes out in a few months.

What do you mean a "real" trailer? This was a real trailer and I thought did a great job of revealing the scope of this film. What were you expecting to see?
