Another boring thread

I see that some people have a mailbox key. Is there anyone here who doesn't lock the mailbox (besides me).

^I didn't use to, but the new ones the owners put up won't stay closed unless locked; and then they're in the way of the front door :(

Keys750x.jpg

  • two suitcase keys
  • tool box
  • bike lock
  • hand cuffs
  • two basement rooms
  • padlock -I'm not sure where is
  • a friends street door
  • parents
  • parents' summer home
  • two for my street door
  • front door
  • two mail boxes
  • bottle opener

Duff Beer key chain.

My key collection consists of:

-front door key
-back door key
-mystery key. Not sure if it's an old Canadian one (moved back to England in 2006) or an English one.
-key to my dad's condo. Odd because (a) you need a swipe card to get in his building and (b) he lives in Canada. If I take it off the keychain, though, I'm sure I'll lose it.
-car key

My keychains consists of:

-very battered Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore dating from 2004
-screwdrivers for glasses
-"kabuki stick"--a ribbed stick about 10cm long made of the same material as cops' night sticks. In other words, I carry around a concealed weapon.

I just have two keys, the security remote and a Sedona, AZ thing with my name engraved on it. Really don't need much else.

On a red carabiner, hanging from a lanyardish thingy that has a compas on it
  • Gerber Artifact Multi-tool, containing a prybar, flat head screwdriver, phillips driver, botle opener, and razor blade
  • key to a piece of luggage
  • shopper's cards to TOPS market, Dick's, and CVS
  • house key
  • Spyderco Honeybee keychain knife
  • key to my violin case

On a smaller carabiner, which clips onto the larger one, I have
  • car key and alarm/lock fob,
  • a keychain flashlight,
  • a small pill capsule containing 4 motrin

If I go into a place that I can't carry the knives and such that are usually on the keychain, I just take that part off, and clip the car key segment back on. The carabiner always gets clipped to my beltloop with the keys resting in a pocket.

It seems like a lot..but it really isn't, especially since I have a ton more capability with me than my parents, both of who carry key bundles bigger than our first house. We even have a key ring full of keys that fit nothing we own...but like other posters, we haven't gotten rid of it for fear of finding the things that the keys go to.

I have two sets of keys. One are my car keys, the other are the keys for my apartment and mailbox. My apartment keys have the cooler keychain:

It's a little worn, but I got it in a giftshop in Rome as a sort of last minute souvenir. It fits well with me being a history nerd. I put it on top of another souvenir to make the background more interesting.
